    Rites tomorrow
    for Mrs. Rechin;
    ex-kennel owner
    A Mass of Resurrection will be offered
    at 10 a.m. tomorrow in Blessed
    Sacrament Church for Mrs. Ellen
    Rechin, an 85-year-old former Town of
    Tonawanda dog kennel owner who died
    Wednesday after a lengthy illness.
    The Mass will be preceded by prayers
    at 9:45 a.m. in the Amigone Funeral
    Home, 2640 Sheridan Drive,
    Town of Tonawanda. Burial will be in
    Mount Olivet Cemetery.
    Mrs. Rechin and her husband, the
    late Christopher J. Rechin, owned the
    former Rechin Kennels which bred,
    boarded and groomed dogs and cats,
    including show animals, for many
    prominent Buf falonians.
    The kennels were opened in 1920 in
    Buffalo and in 1950 were moved to 1876,
    Niagara Falls Blvd., Town of
    Tonawanda, until the Rechins retired
    in 1962.
    Mrs. Rechin was a life member of
    the Altar & Rosary Society of Blessed
    Sacrament Church and the Kenilworth
    Volunteer Fire Department Ladies
    Auxiliary in the Town of Tonawanda.
    The Rechins resided at 603 Montrose
    Avenue and were married for 63 years
    before Mr. Rechin died last year.
    Surviving are three daughters, Mrs.
    Thomas E. Kelly, Mrs. William P.
    Buchanan and Mrs. Lucien J.
    Wiepolski; a sister, Mrs. Charles
    Stoller; seven grandchildren and five
    great-grandchildren.
