HELEN J. BUCHEIT

Helen J. Bucheit, 72, of 3415 Westlake Road, Erie, died Monday in Millcreek Community Hospital.

She was born January 28, 1916, in St. Marys, daughter of the late Edward and Anna Breindel Wilhelm. She was married to Leon Bucheit, who preceded her in death.

Surviving are two daughters: Renee, Mrs. Howard Stolz and Carol Bucheit, both of Erie; two sons, Eric of Denver, Col.; Leon Bucheit, Jr. of Erie; nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren; two sisters: Doris, Mrs. Michael Florio of St. Marys; Rita Bucheit of DuBois; two brothers: Edward and LeRoy Wilhelm both of St. Marys.

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters: Katherine Kreckel and Louise Young; and a brother, Claude Wilhelm.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, 11 a.m. in St. Julia Church in Erie. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery there.

Friends and relatives may call at the Burton Westlake Funeral Home in Erie today from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m.
