Lucy Biamonte

Lucy Biamonte, 87, of Lewiston, NY, passed away on February 5, 2016 at O.L.P Nursing Care Residence. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Leo and Concetta (Caprio) Ferrante.

Lucy married Napoleon Biamonte on August 27, 1948 in Niagara Falls. She was an avid reader and enjoyed crafts and ceramics. Lucy was loved and cherished by many nieces and nephews, who will always remember her as their favorite Aunt.

In addition to her husband of 68 years, Lucy is survived by her many loving nieces and nephews including Chris (Theresa) Ferrante, Dennis (Diane) Martinez, great-nephew Chris Ferrante and great-niece Zoe Martinez. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law Sarah Biamonte, Nick (Val) Biamonte and her dear friend Carol Ann MacKinnon. She was predeceased by four siblings, Leo (late Bettie) Ferrante, Jr., Theresa (late Michael) Martinez, Margaret (late James) Alaimo, and Adelene DeGasper, as well as two brothers-in-law Domenic “Mick” (late Maxine) Biamonte, Joseph Biamonte and one sister-in-law Lena (Fred of Niagara Falls, Ontario) Girardo.

Visitation will be Tuesday, February 9th from 2 - 4 & 6 - 8 P.M. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, where funeral services will be on Wednesday at 1:30 P.M. Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Niagara Falls, Ontario will be held Thursday at 11 A.M. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Alzheimer’s Association or charity of one’s choice.
