Buckland Sr., 70, of North Tonawanda,
formerly of Buffalo, unexpectedly
Tuesday, (March 11,1966).
He was the husband of the late
Marjorie (nee Helstrom) Buckland.
He is survived by his son LaVern
(Trudy) Buckland, Jr. of North
Tonawanda; a daughter, Mrs.
Leonard (Marjorie) Ruest of
Jacksonville, Fla.; his mother, Mrs.
Harriet Buckland; three brothers,
Curtis (Sarah) Buckland, Melvin
(Eunice) Buckland and Jay
(Velma) Buckland; also surviving
are six grandchildren and several
nieces and nephews.
Friends may call on THURSDAY
from 7-9 p.m. and FRIDAY from 2-4
and 7-9 p.m. at the Hamp Funeral
Home Inc., Adam and Seymour
Streets, Tonawanda where funeral
services will be held at 9:30 a.m.
Saturday. Interment at Mt. Calvary
Cemetery.

Saturday at St. Rose of lima
Roman Catholic Church, Buffalo.
The newlyweds are motoring
to Arizona for their wedding
trip.

ALBION - Harriet Caroline
(Roth) Buckland, 96, of S. Clinton
Street, died this morning at her residence
following a long illness.
She was a member of the Abeel
Rebekah Lodge #131, and a charter
member of the Carlton Fire Department
Ladies Auxiliary. She was also
a member of the Gaines-Carlton
Community Church.
Survivors include three sons, Curtis
(Sarah) Buckland of California,
Melvin (Eunice) Buckland of South
Carolina, and Jay (Velma) Buckland
of Kent; 14 grandchildren; 27 greatgrandchildren;
several great-greatgrandchildren,
nieces, nephews, cou-
sins; and a very dear friend, Marian
Clack.
The family will receive friends
Wednesday (2-4, 7-9) at the
Christopher-Mitchell Funeral Home
Inc., 21 West Ave., where funeral
services will be held. Thursday at 1
p.m. Burial will be in Mount Albion
Cemetery.

th e death of William C. Buckland occurred
at the home of his son, Jay. of
Kuckville. He was bom October 12,
1837, at Coldwater, Mich. He came to
this county In early childhood and has
resided here ever since. He leaves
his wife. Catherine Buckland; three
s o n s , . James H„ of Grand Marals,
Mich.; Marvin G.. of Lyndonvllle:
Jay. with whom he resided; one
'daughter. Mrs. Chas. Plummer of
Waterport; two brothers, Charles and
James, of Oakfield; one sister, Mrs.
Amelia Spaulding of Albion; ten
grandchildren, two great-grand-
children. Funeral services were held
at 2 o'clock the following Saturday
afternoon at his son's home. Burial
at Mt. Albion.

services for,Catherine Buckland, who
died in t h e home of her daughter. Mrs.
Charles Plummer, Town Line road,
Tuesday, will be held in t h e home Friday
afternoon at 3 o'clock, with burial
in Bates road cemetery.
Mrs. Buckland was born in Kenyonville.
September 13. 1860. and had been
a life-long resident of Orleans County.
Besides her daughter, she is survived
by three eovs. Jamds of Grand
Marala, Mich.; Jay. of Kent, and Marvin
of Lyndon'viile".
One sister. Mrs. Nellie Salmon of
Waterport; ten grandchildren and four
great grandchildren.
