    Buckman, 71, of Maplewood Drive,
    died unexpectedly Sunday at his
    home.
    A memorial service will be at 2 p.m.
    Saturday, Nov. 8, in the Wolcott
    United Methodist Church.
    Memorial contributions may be
    made to the Wolcott United Methodist
    Church or to the Wolcott Area
    Volunteer Ambulance Corps.
    Born in Batavia, Mr. Buckman moved
    to Wolcott from Honeoye Falls in
    1974. He retired from the Lehigh
    Valley Railroad in 1973. He was a
    member of the Wolcott United
    Methodist Church and the
    Brotherhood of Railroad Signalmen of
    America.
    Surviving are his wife, Doris
    Wickens Buckman; a son, Ronald of
    Red Creek; a daughter, Mrs. Richard
    (Constance Benwitz) of Newark; a
    sister, Mrs. George (Norene) Ayrault
    of Alden; two brothers, Charles of
    Batavia and Harold of Stafford; four
    grandchildren; one niece and one
    nephew

    BATAVIA-Albert Buckman
    74, of the Dodgson Road, died
    Thursday (April 30, 1964) after
    suffering a heart attack at his
    home.
    Born in Darien Dec. 15, 1889,
    Mr. Buckman was the son of
    Fred and Augusta Wanneke
    Buckman. He had resided on
    the Dodgson Road 53 years
    and had been engaged in
    farming. He was a member of
    the Holy Name of Mary Church
    in East Pembroke and North
    Darien Grange 405. On Feb. 23
    1909, he married Theresa Sta-
    pell, who survives.
    Also surviving are three sons,
    Charles of Batavia, Harold of
    Stafford and Norman of Hone-
    oye Falls; a daughter, Mrs.
    Norene Ayraut of Alden; a
    brother, George of Corfu; three
    sisters, Mrs.. Augusta Hardie
    and Mrs. Ellen Seltz of Buf-
    falo and Mrs. Edna Schell of
    Michigan; four grandchildren,
    and a great-grandchild.
    The C. B. Beach Funeral
    Home in Corfu is completing
    service arrangements.
