    Mr. and Mrs. Forest M. Folkerth of 228 Vine
    St., have announced the engagement of their
    daughter, Paula L. to Anthony J. Bucolo, son of
    Mrs. Mary Bucolo of 228 Genesee St. and Anthony
    J. Bucolo of 4330 Lake Ave.
    The bride-elect, a graduate of Lockport Senior
    High School, is employed by the Manufacturers
    and Traders Trust Co. at Lockport.
    Her fiance, also a graduate of Lockport Senior
    High School, is employed by the Harrison
    Radiator Division of General Motors Corp.
    A July wedding is planned.

    Miss Paula L. Folkerth
    and Anthony J. Bucolo exchanged
    wedding vows at
    11 a.m. today, July 29, 1967,
    during ceremonies at St.
    John's Church, Lockport.
    The Rev. Hubert Seymour
    performed the Nuptial Mass,
    in a church decorated with
    white gladioli and pompons.
    Organ music was provided
    by Donald Chaplin.
    The bride is the daughter
    of Mr. and Mrs. Forest M.
    Folkerth, 228 Vine St., Lockport,
    and the bridegroom is
    the son of Mrs. Mary Bucolo,
    228 Genesee St., Lockport.
    Miss Folkerth was given
    in marriage by her father
    and wore a gown of pure
    silk organza over taffeta,
    with a sheath skirt and empire
    waist. A full - length
    train fell from the waist,
    with a Chantilly lace border.
    The dress featured bellshaped
    sleeves. Her headpiece
    was of threetiered
    pure illusion w i th
    leaves of pearls. Miss Folkerth
    carried a cascade
    bouquet of white chrysanthemums
    and pompons with
    a detachable orchid.
    Best man was Charles Loiacano
    of Lockport, a cousin
    of the bridegroom, and ushers
    were Alexander Streppa,
    Donald Byzynski and
    Charles Thrall, all of Lockport.
    A wedding breakfast was
    held at the home of Mr. and
    Mrs. Louis Torriere, 4162
    Lake Ave., Lockport. A dinner
    was scheduled to be
    heid at 3:30 p.m. at Lockport
    Bowl, followed by a reception
    from 6 to 9 p.m.,
    aiso at Lockport Bowl.
    The couple will take a
    wedding trip to the Pocono
    Mountains in Pennsylvania
    and will make their
    home at 202 Pine St., Lockport,
    when they return.
    The bride is a graduate
    of Lockport Senior High
    School and is employed at
    the Manufacturers and Traders
    Trust Company in
    Lockport. The bridegroom,
    also a graduate of Lockport
    Senior High School, served
    for two years with the U.S.
    Army and is now employed
    with the Harrison Radiator
    Division of General Motors
    Corp.

    6597 Slayton Settlement Road,
    died September 9, 1972, at his
    late residence. He is survived
    by his wife, Delia (nee
    Corriere), three daughters and
    f i v e sons, Mrs. Laverne
    (Frances) Nagel, Mrs. Louis
    (Rose) Torriere, Mrs. Melvin
    (Nicky) Beeoher, Anthony,
    James, Michael, Jerome, and
    Joseph Bucolo, all of Lockport;
    also 23 grandchildren and 15
    great grandchildren, a brother,
    John Bucolo, Lockport. Friends
    may call at the Gaul Funeral
    Home Inc., 263 East Ave.,
    where the funeral will be held
    Tuesday at 9 a.m. and 9:30
    a.m. from St. Joseph's Church.
    Interment in St. Patrick's
    Cemetery. The family will be
    present from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.

    Anthony Bucolo, 88, of 6597
    Slayton Settlement Road, a fruit
    and vegetable farmer for 52
    years, died Saturday at his
    home following a 15-month
    illness.
    He was born in Sicily, Dec.
    23, 1883, and came to the United
    States in 1907. He had operated
    the fruit and vegetable farm
    and greenhouses at his home
    address.
    Mr. Bucolo and his wife, Mrs.
    Delia Corriere Bucolo, recently
    celebrated their 58th wedding
    anniversary.
    Survivors include: his widow;
    three daughters and *ive sons,
    Mrs. Laverne (Frances) Nagel,
    Mrs. Louis (Rose) Torriere,
    Mrs. Melvin (Nicky) Beeoher,
    A n t h o n y , James, Michael,
    Jerome, and Joseph Bucolo, all
    of Lockport; 23 grandchildren,
    15 great grandchildren and a
    brother, John Bucolo, Lockport.
    Friends may call at the Gaul
    Funeral Home Inc., 263 East
    Ave., Lockport, where funeral
    services will be held Tuesday
    at 9 a.m. and at 9:30 a.m. at
    St. Joseph's Church. Burial will
    be in St. Patrick's Cemetery.
    The family will be present
    from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
    today.

    It was just 50 years ago today, Nov. 23, 1913,
    when Miss Delia Corriere exchanged nuptial vows
    with Anthony Bucolo. It was a typically beautiful
    Fall day when the couple were married at St.
    Joseph's Church, Lockport, by Father Lava. At 10
    this morning, 50 years alter, the couple once again
    entered St. Joseph's Church where they renewed
    the vows made so many years ago.
    Both natives of Italy, Mrs.
    Bucolo came to this country
    when she was but 9
    years of age. Mr. Bucolo
    arrived here when he was
    18. The couple met in
    Lockport and after a courtship
    of nearly three years,
    they married.
    FARMING
    Having been a son of
    farming people, Mr. Bucolo
    naturally returned to the
    soil for his living. Having
    farmed at 6597 Slayton-Settlement
    Road for the past
    43 years, he is still active
    in his chosen life's work.
    The couple belongs to the
    St. Joseph's Church where
    Mrs. Bucolo* is a member
    of the Immaculate Conception
    Society.
    They have three daughters
    and five sons, Mrs.
    La Verne (Frances) Nagel;
    Mrs. Louis (Rose) Torriere
    and Mrs. Melvin (Micki)
    Beecher, all of Lockport;
    Anthony, Jerome and Joseph,
    also of Lockport; and
    James and Michael of Gasport.
    They also have 21 grandchildren
    and a great-grandson,
    Anthony Parete Jr. of
    Lockport.
    CELEBRATION
    For her open house and
    reception from 6 until 9 this
    evening, at the Wright's
    Corners Fire Hall, Mrs.
    Bucolo will wear a dusty
    rose lame sheath accented
    with a white orchid. Mr.
    Bucolo will Join his wife
    in the receiving line wearing
    a dark suit enhanced
    with a golden rose.
    Guests will be served
    from a table covered with
    a lace cloth, tatted by Mrs.
    Bucolo. Centering the table
    will be a four - tiered wedding
    cake embellished with
    golden motifs and flanked
    with tapers in crystal holders.
