Lantinen of Florida; beloved sister of Cheryl Radder (nee Lantinen) of Derby, NY, Richard Lantinen of Florida, Gary Lantinen of Barker, NY, Raymond Lantinen of Florida; also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.     Turquoise and pink gowns were

    worn by the bride's atendants for
    the marriage ceremony of Miss
    Muriel Elaine Landry, daughter of
    Mr. and Mrs. D. J. Landry of 151
    Lock St., and Donald Robert Beecue,
    son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter
    Beccue. 133 Carlton PI., solemnised
    Saturday evening at 7 o'clock In
    First Presbyterian Church,
    Stephen Palmer officiating.
    The bride, given in marriage by
    her father, wore a white gown with
    fluted satin bodice with a yoke of
    fine silver net and peaked sleeves.
    The net skirt trimmed with lace extended
    to a full train. Her veil of
    Spanish lace was caught to a se-
    quined crown with satin edging. she
    wore pearls and carried a cascade of
    white roses and other white flowers
    tied with satin streamers.
    Attendants' Gowns

    Miss Beatrice Crafts of Jeddo,
    maid of honor, wore a turquoise
    gown with shirred brocaded top and
    sweetheart neckline. The bridesmaids,
    Miss Betty Lou Warner and
    Miss Marilyn Landry, sister of the
    bride, wore pink net gowns with lace
    tops and gathered skirts Miss
    Crafts carried assorted pink flowers
    with yellow roses and the bridesmaids
    carried pink roses. Patricia
    Ann Beccue, niece of the bridegroom,
    was flower girl.
    Jay Davis of Silver Creek was best
    man and ushers were William Beccue
    of Medina and Warren Smith
    of Lockport.
    Mrs. Patrick Madriska, organist,
    played the wedding music and Allen
    Poyf air was soloist.

    Mrs. Landry wore a black
    with white and rose accessories and
    Mrs. Beccue wore a blue and white
    dress.
    RECEPTION FOLLOWS
    Baskets of peonies. lilies and roses
    decorated the churct: for the ceremony.
    A reception to 180 guests followed
    at Hotel Lox-PIaza. Eight were
    seated at the lace-covered bridal
    table centered with white candles in
    silver holders.
    Mr. and Mrs. Beccue left for a
    short wedding trip, the bride wearing
    a sheer pink dress with embroidered
    bodice and a corsage of
    mixed flowers. They will make their
    home at 133 Gooding St.
    The bridegroom served In France
    and Germany and received his discharge
    with the rating of private
    first class.

  1. 8.  BECCUE, Karl Walter was born on 24 Mar 1882 in New York (son of BECCUE, Abraham and BECKER, Anna Franziska); died on 12 Jan 1947 in Lockport, Niagara County, NY.

    Ill for more than 5 years. Walter
    K. Beccue, 64, retired police
    sergeant and Spanish-American
    War Veteran, died Sunday evening
    at his home, 32 Carlton Place.
    Mr. Beccue was born in Lockport
    March 24, 1882, son of Mr. and Mrs.
    Abraham Beccue. His father op-
    erated a hotel in Park Avenue.
    The son attended the former
    Hawley and Washburn Street
    schools. When war broke out with
    Spain he answered the call to the
    colors and served with the 42nd
    Regiment, U.S. Volunteers, in the
    Philippines.
    Before failing health forced his
    retirement in 1932, Mr. Beccue
    served 23 years in the Lockport
    Police Department. Appointed a
    patrolman on April 1, 1909, he rose
    from the ranks to detective sergeant
    and served in that capacity for sev-
    eral years. Unable to perform the
    latter duties because of his health,
    he served as desk sergeant for a
    short time before he retired.
    Mr. Beccue was a member of the
    Hickory Club and Lockport Lodge,
    73, F&AM.
    Surviving are his wife, Amelia
    Buhs Beccue; a daughter, Mrs.
    Floyd Beyer of Wilson and three
    sons, Karl W., William A. and Don-
    ald R. Beccue of Lockport. There
    are seven grandchildren.
    Services will be held Wednesday
    at 2:30 at the Clemens O. Gaul
    Funeral Home, 263 East Ave.
    Burial will be in St. Peter's Ceme-
    tery.

    Karl married BUHS, Amelia on 18 May 1910. Amelia (daughter of BUHS, John and SALTZMAN, Elizabeth) was born on 2 Jul 1885 in Buffalo, Erie County, NY; died on 30 Dec 1952 in Lockport Memorial Hospital, Lockport, Niagara County, NY. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

    Stricken with a cerebral hem-
    orrhage early this morning while
    visiting at the home of her son,
    Mrs. Amelia Beccue, 67, was pro-
    nounced dead upon arrival at
    Lockport City Hospital.
    Mrs. Beccue. widow of Detective

    Sergt. Walter K. Beccue. who
    served on the Lockport Police
    Force for 23 years, had been making
    her home with her daughter,
    Mrs. Floyd Beyer, in Wilson for
    tour years. She was spending a
    few days with her youngest son,
    Donald Beccue, 1S1 Lock St.. when
    she became ill.
    Born In Buffalo. July J. I8®
    the daughter of John and Elisabeth
    Saltzman Buhs, Mrs. Beccue
    lived In Lockport approximately
    38 years. She was a member of
    the Auxiliary to United Spanish
    War Veterans.
    Besides her daughter and son

    Donald, she Is survived by two
    other sons, Karl W and William
    A., both of Lockport, ten grandhildren,
    two sisters and two
    brothers, Mrs. Louis Panten, Mrs.

    Clarence Dietsel and John Buhs,
    all of Buffalo, aad William Buhs
    of Chicago.
    Services will be held Friday at
    2 o'clock at Gaul Funeral Home,
    253 East Ave., the Rev. Walter
    L. Kingsley, pastor of Wilson
    Methodist Church, officiating.
    Burial will be in St. Peter's Lu-
    theran Cemetery.
