Helena M. Reischel (Hoefert) age 98, of North Tonawanda, unexpectedly November 4, 2019 in DeGraff Memorial Hospital. Helena was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church and the Ladies Guild. She was a former employee of the W.T. Grant Co. and she loved bowling. She was the wife of the late Robert H. Reischel Sr. Beloved mother of Robert H. (Jane) Reischel Jr. and Jeffrey Reischel. Grandmother of Sherri Reischel, Robert Reischel, Christopher Reischel and the late Jeffrey Reischel. Mother-in-law of Gayle Reischel.
Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home Inc. 1241 Oliver St. at Ward Rd. in North Tonawanda on Sunday from 4:00 - 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 10:30 AM from St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 875 Eggert Dr., in North Tonawanda, the Rev. HOEFERT - Lt. Fred W. Hoefert, 63, of 1143 Nash Rd., North Tonawanda, died Tuesday ( September 27, 1960) at DeGraff Memorial Hospital after a short illness. He was born on Grand Island, N. Y., and had resided in North Tonawanda most of his life. He was a member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church and the North Tonawanda Policemen's Club. He served with the North Tonawanda Police Department for 34 years. Survivors include his wife, Marion (nee Jendrian) Hoefert; six daughters, Mrs. Robert (Helena) Reischel, Mrs. Lanny (Dorothy) Miller, Mrs. Kenneth (Pearl) Howard, Mrs. Norman (Lillian) Koepsell, Mrs. Stanley (Violet) Armol and Mrs. Theodore (June) Kasprzak, all of North Tonawanda; two sons, Kenneth A. Hoefert and Douglas D. Werth, both of North Tonawanda; 21 grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Paula Wilke, Lakeland, N. J., Mrs. Sherman Loud of New York City and Mrs. James Lillis of Buffalo, and three brothers, Henry, Frank and Herman Hoefert of North Tonawanda. Friends may call at the Hilliard Funeral Home, 147 Delaware St., Tonawanda, where services will be Friday at 2 o'clock. The Rev. Adolph Moldenhauer will officiate. Burial in St. Matthew's Cemetery.

Mrs. Sara M. Hoefert, 45, of 1117 Nash road, died this morning in the DeGraff Memorial hospital. Born in the town of Wheatfield, she had resided in the Tonawanda and vicinity all her life She is survived by her husband, Fred Hoefert; a son, Kenneth A.; five daughters, Mrs. Robert Reischel, Mrs. Melan Miller and the Misses Pearl, Lillian and Violet; a father, Albert Schultz; a sister, Mrs. Edward Moritz and three grandchildren. Rites will be held Saturday at 2:30 p. m. from the residence. The Rev. Carl Frankenstein will officiate. Burial in Elmlawn
