    GASPORT - Henry Bud-
    ziszewski, 70, of 9023 Asher St., died
    today ~at DeGraffe Memorial
    Hospital in North Tonawanda.
    He was born Sept. 3, 1916 to the
    late Frank and Lottie Budziszewski
    of Buffalo. He lived most of his life in
    the Middleport-Gasport area and
    was a member of St. Patrick's
    Roman Catholic Church in Barker.
    He retired in 1984 from the Airy Tool
    and Die Company of North
    Tonawanda after several years of
    service.
    Husband of the late Thelma
    Budziszewski, he is survived by
    children, Mrs. Ronald (JoAnne)
    Lasal of Kendall, Raymond
    iDarlene) Budziszewski of Lock-
    port. William (Marion) Bud-
    ziszewski of Akron, James
    (Virginia) Budziszewski of Barker,
    Daniel (Lynn) Budziszewski of
    Lockport and Michael Budziszewski
    of Gasport.
    He is also survived by one brother,
    Thomas Budziszewski of Depewy
    and sisters, Mrs. Edward (Helen)
    Prewentowski of Buffalo, Mrs. John
    (Regina) Golebioski of Middleport,
    Mrs.
    Lottie, McAvoy of Medina, Mrs.
    Hattie Budell-of Lockport and the
    late Jennie Calder.
    Survivors also include 13 grand-
    children, one great-grandchild and
    several nieces and nephews.
    Friends may call Wednesday <7-9)
    and Thursday-f 2-4,7-9) at the Bates,
    Wallace and Heath Inc. Funeral
    Home, 38 State St., Middleport,
    where a funeral service will be held
    Friday at 10:15 a.m. and at 11 a.m.
    at St. Patrick's Roman Catholic
    Church, Barker, where a mass of
    Christian burial will be celebrated
    by the Rev. Fabian Maryanski.
    Burial will be in Hartland Central
    Cemetery.

    Tragedy struck twice on Niag-
    ara County roads Friday to raise
    the 1962 county highway fatality
    toll to 17 which is 10 more than
    this same time in 1961.
    Dead are Lionel Priddle, 64, of
    5409 Elm Drive, Lewiston, and
    Frank Budziszewski, 75, of 2746
    Carmen Road, Middleport.
    Mr. Budziszewski, a retired em-
    ploye of the Buffalo Drop Forge
    Co., was struck and killed by a
    car shortly before 10 as he walked
    on Carmen Road in the Town of
    Hartland.
    The river of the car, 25 year
    old William J. Higgins of the
    Carmen Road, was charged by
    sheriff's deputie with "faiure to
    keep right." He will appear in
    Town of Hartland court at 7:30
    p.m Tuesay to answer the
    charge.
    Deputies said that Mr Budzis-
    zewski was walking on the west
    side of the road when struck by
    the northbound auto. The vehicle
    was heavily damaged by the force
    of the impact.
    Dr. George Muscato, Niagarra
    Counnty coroner, withheld the
    cause of death pending an autop-
    sy.
    FATHER OF SEVEN
    Mr. Budziszewski was born
    Sept. 21, 1886, in Poland and
    came to this country in 1912. He
    had always resided in this vicini-
    ty and was a member of St. Pat-
    rick's Church, Barker. His wife
    died earlier this year.
    Mr. Budziszewski is susrvived
    by five daughters, Mrs.. Jennie
    Calder of Hartford, Conn.; Mrs.
    Helen Preventowski of Tonawan-
    da; Mrs.. Lottie McAvoy of MId-
    dleport; Mrs. Regina Goblioski of
    Lyndonville and Mrs. Hattie Bud-
    dell of Lockport; two sons, Hen-
    ry of Middleport and Thomas of
    Depew, and several grandchil-
    dren.
    Friends may call Sunday and
    Monday from 3-5 and 7-9 at the
    Wallace and Heath Funeral
    Home, Inc, 38 State St., Middle-
    port, where funeral services will
    be held at 9:15 a.m. Tuesday and
    at 10 from St. Patrick's Church,
    Barker. The Rev. Francis Walker
    will officiate. Burial will be in
    Hartland Central Cemetery.
    STRUCK TREE
    Mr. Priddle died at Niagara
    Fails Memorial Hospital shortly
    before 6 p.m. after his car crashed
    against a tree in the Town of Ni-
    agara approximately five hours
    earlier.
    State Police said that Mr. Prid-
    dle's car left Witmer Road, near
    Military Road, and travele some
    60 feet on the shoulder before
    striking the tree. Troopers report-
    ed finding no skid marks.
    Dr. Loren Welch, acting Niag-
    are County coroner, withheld a
    death certificate pending an au-
    topsy schedule to be performed
    today.

    pined away suddenly Tuesday,
    March 8. 1960, at the Medina
    Memorial Hospital. She is sur-
    vivied by her husband, Frank;
    five daughters, Mrs. Jennie Cal-
    der of Hartford, Conn.; Mrs. Hel-
    en Preventowski of Tonawanda;
    Mrs. Lottoe McAvoy of Middle-
    port; Mrs. Regina Golebioski of
    Jeddo; Mrs. Hattie Buddell of
    Lockport; two sons, Henry of
    Middleport, Thomas of Depew,
    annd several grandchildren.

    be held Friday morning at 9
    o'clock and 10 o'clock at St. Pat-
    rick's Church, Barker, with the
    Rev. Kenneth F. Mullen officiat-
    ing. Burial in Hartland Centra
    Cemetery. The Rosary will be
    recited Thursday evening at 8
    o'clock.

    slawa Budziszewski, 70, wife of
    Frank Budziszewski, Carmen Rd.
    Middleport, died unexpectedly on
    Tuesday (March 8, 1960)
    Mrs. Budziszewski was born on
    Feb. 14. 1890 in. Poland, the
    daughter of Michael and Jo-
    sephine Smyk Madra She came to
    this country about 50 years ago
    and lived in Buffalo until she
    moved here 15 years ago.
    She was a member of St. Pat-
    rick's Church in Barker.
    Surviving besides her husband
    are five daughters, Mrs. Jennie
    Calder of Hartford, Conn.; Mrs.
    Helen Preventowski of Tonwan-
    da. Mrs. Lottie McAvoy of Mid-
    dleport, Mrs. Regina Golebioski
    of Jeddo, and Mrs. Hattie Buddell
    of Lockport; and two sons, Henry
    of Middleport and Thomas of De-
    pew.
    Friends may call at the home
    of John Golebioski, Ridge Rd.,
    Jeddo, where services will be held
    Friday morning at 9 and at 10 in
    St. Patrick's Church in Barker.
    The Rev. Kenneth F. Mullen will

    land Central Cemetery. The ros-
    ary will be recited at 8 tomorrow
    evening in the home.
