    Notes:

    Richard Edgar Milleville, born to Hugo and Beata Milleville on July 1st, 1927, passed away on May 3rd, 2017, at the age of 89.  Richard was the beloved husband of Emily (Dietz) Milleville for 56 wonderful years.  Richard was a devoted lifetime member of St. James Lutheran Church.  He attended Trott Vocational School in Niagara Falls and later served in the US Marine Corps from 1945 to 1946.  After his time in the service Richard worked as a millwright for General Abrasives for 33 years.  He enjoyed gardening, fishing, bowling, hunting, spoiling his grandchildren, and attending his family’s sporting events. He was a member of the Bergholz Fire Company for 63 years.
    Richard is survived by two sisters, Janice Kirchner and Alice Lange and to sisters-in-law Jean and Joanne Milleville; and his ten children and their spouses; Richard (Nancy), Jeffrey (late Wanda), Jane (Clayton) Wilson, Michael (Janet), Sharon (George) Walters, Bruce (Debbie), Brad (Susan), Sue (Jeffery) Boyer, Michelle (David) Lyman, and Christine (Brian) Foy. He was the proud grandfather of Andrea, Jon, Kristen, Liz, Ricky, Jess, Ben, Carly, Mikaela, Jake, Ryan, Sam, Tyler, Megan, Julia, Mason, Dan, Arianna, Sydney, Sarah, Matthew, Alyssa, Nate, and Nick; and many nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by six siblings, Erwin, Florence, Winifred, Alfred, Beatrice, and Donald.
    Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 4th from 6 – 9 P.M. and Friday, May 5th from 1 – 3 & 6 – 9 P.M. at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls. Funeral services will be celebrated on Saturday, May 6th at 3:00 P.M. in St. James Lutheran Church, 2437 Niagara Road, Niagara Falls. Interment will follow in St. James Cemetery.

    Obituary

    Michael “Mick/Mickey” Galas was recently reunited with the love of his life of more than 50 plus years, the late Sylvia (nee Siezega).  He is survived by four daughters: Debra (Bruce) Milleville, Tammy Galas-Kelly, Jessica (Chris) Warthling and Mandy (Joe) Lofft. He was a doting Dziadzie to 11 grandchildren: Carly, Mikaela and Ryan Milleville; Ben (Tori) and Emily Kelly; Madison, Joshua and Kennedy Warthling; Alex, Jason and Kayleigh Lofft.  
    He was the son of the late Michael and Genevieve Galas. He is survived by his brother Thomas (Beth) Galas, Sister Mary Michaelanne (Leona) Galas, and was predeceased by his brother Richard Galas and sister Felicia (Blake) Roggow. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
    He was a lifelong resident of the Tonawandas, and was an active member of the St. Francis parish and made many lifelong friends with the Marriage Encounter Group. Michael was a life time member of St. Timothy’s RC Church.  In his life he worked several jobs ranging from a grocery store clerk, collision & automotive repair, security, collections specialist and insurance investigator. His longest career was with Niagara Mohawk Power for 28 years, where he was employed as a millwright (mechanic).  While working at NiMo’s Huntley Plant, he was involved with the community action team on many projects, some of which he chaired, including revitalizing the Cherry Farm. He was an avid fan of the NY Yankees.  Both he and his wife, Sylvia, enjoyed their kids and grandkids many sports and activities.  His passion for nature, especially birds, had them traveling extensively across all of North America.  He was always chasing the next “lifer.”  He was an active member of the Buffalo Ornithological Society since 1985 and one of his favorite projects was trapping and banding owls with the NYS DEC.  He also served as a board member for the Friends of Iroquois and recently made many cherished friends within the Hospice community.  
    He was a friend to all, as can be seen through his treasured connections with people from church, Marriage Encounter, Huntley, BOS, Hospice and people from all chapters of his life.  
    Friends may call at the Fretthold and Hamp Funeral Home, 37 Adam St., in the City of Tonawanda on Monday from 2-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 AM from St. Timothy’s R. C. Church, 565 E. Park Dr., in Tonawanda, Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.     Sylvia (nee Siezega) Galas, age 70, a life long resident of the Tonawandas, passed away Saturday, July 8 in Hospice care after a long battle with cancer. Born on November 21, 1946 in North Tonawanda, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Hattie (nee Krzywda) Siezega. Sylvia was a member of St. Timothy's R.C. Church as well as their Rosary Society. She loved music, especially in church, as well as Polish and Celtic music. She was part of the Arien's singing group in her younger days. Sylvia was always singing and smiling. She loved traveling and was an artist. Her biggest passion, however, were her children and grandchildren. She never missed a game or event, even if she wasn't feeling up to it. She was their biggest fan.
    She was the loving wife of Michael for more than 52 years; mother of Debbie (Bruce) Milleville, Tammy (Sean) Kelly, Jessica (Christopher) Warthling, Mandy (Joseph) Lofft; Babcie of Benjamin & Emily Kelly, Carly, Mikaela & Ryan Milleville, Madison, Joshua & Kennedy Warthling, Alex, Jason & Kayleigh Lofft; sister of Jeanette (Ronald) Baron and the late William Siezega; also survived by many nieces and nephews.
    Sylvia and Mickey loved to travel and their adventures took them all over North America. Some of her favorite adventures were Hawaii, the Alaskan cruise, Las Vegas, the Grand Canyon, and their road trip through Newfoundland to Labrador.
    The family would like to thank all of those who gave exceptional care for her during her illness, especially the doctors, nurses and Hospice staff at Millard Fillmore Suburban.
    Friends may call from 4-7 PM on Sunday and 2-4 and 6-8 PM on Monday at the HAMP FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 37 Adam Street at Seymour, Tonawanda. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM Tuesday at St. Timothy R.C. Church, 565 East Park Drive, Town of Tonawanda. Family and friends are invited. Interment at Mt.     MILLEVILLE - Hugo A. Milleville, 69, of 2049 Cayuga Drive Extension, Town of Wheatfield, died Thursday (Feb. 8, 1962) in St. Mary's Hospital, Niagara Falls, after a brief illness. Mr. Milleville was a lifelong resident of the Town of Wheatfield. He was a member of St. James Lutheran Church of Bergholz and the St. James Brotherhood; a member of the Retired Men's Club of Niagara Falls and a retired employee of the former Oldburg Chemical Co.     She was a life long member of St. James Lutheran Church, Ladies Aid Society, Women of the Church, the church choir and a member of the Senior Citizens.
    She was the widow of the late Hugo A. Milleville. She is survived by four sons.
