    A memorial service was held at the
    convenience of the family for Bernard J.
    Buelte, 46, of 6832 Westvlew Drive. Perry,
    who died Feb. 22, 1984 in Wyoming
    County Community Hospital.
    A resident of the Perry area for the
    past 10 years, Mr. Buelte was employed
    as a construction worker In the Rochester
    area until illness forced him to retire
    in 1966.
    Survivors Include his wife, Jean Cooke
    Buelte; one son, Bernard, at home; one
    daughter, Barbara, at home; two step-
    daughters, Jeanette Whetmore and
    Paulette Row sow ski; two stepsons,
    Wayne and Scott Tavernler, both at
    home; three sisters, Dorothy Cassldy,
    Mary Volkman and Patricia Touhey, all
    of Rochester; and one grandchild.
    Burial was In the Glenwood Cemetery
    In Perry.

    I Army veteran and retired em-
    ploye of Esso Standard Oil Co.
    here, died yesterday (Dec. 21,
    1958). Mr. Buelte, a truck driver
    for the company for 40 years,
    retired in July, 1954, because of
    illness.
    Mr. Buelte Is survived by a
    son, Bernard J. Buelte; three
    daughters, Mrs. Robert Cassidy
    and Mrs. William Cassidy of
    Rochester and Mrs. Alan Bush-
    man of Spencerport; six grand-
    children; two brothers, Arthur
    of Rochester and Cletus of Hol
    ley: and two sisters, Mrs. Mary
    Parsons and Mrs. Franklin
    Earle, both of Rochester. The
    prayer service will be held at
    8:15 a.m. Wednesday in Haub-
    ner & Stallknecht Funeral
    Home, 828 Jay St., and requiem
    Mass will be celebrated at 9 in
    St. John's Church, Spencerport
    Buriall will be in Holy Sepulchre
    Cemetery.

    -The Rochester Chronicle of Tuesday
    states that the case of William A Sipple,
    administrator, etc., vs. the New York Cen-
    tral and Hudson railroad company to hich
    we alluded on Friday last, was concluded
    in the circuit cout yesterday. The ury
    returning a verdict in favor of the plaintiff
    for $2,500. A son of the plaintiff, our
    readers will remember, was empoyed as
    fireman on the locomotive of which Ignatius
    Buelte was engineer and which was pre-
    cipitated in Marsh Creek in consequence of
    the giving away of a culvert over the creek
    near Geneva, on the night of the 29th of
    March, 1873, by which the engineer and
    fieman lost their lives. Mrs. Buelte, the
    widow of the engineer, recovered a verdict
    for $5,000 in the last October circuit for
    the loss of her husband.
