Sr. and Lydia (Boots) Muir. Leslie retired from General Motors as a production line worker. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending time with his great grandchildren. Father of Cindy (Charles) Phillips of Lockport, NY; Brother of Eason (Debbie ) Muir of Middleport, NY and Robert (Mabel) Moore of Middleport, NY. Grandfather to Charles (Alyssa) Phillips and Noah Phillips. Great grandfather to Iian and Owen Phillips. Leslie is predeceased by his sisters Bertha Riggle, Betty Raczkiewicz and Josephine Burkett also a brother Charles Muir. Friends and family are invited to attend a graveside service at Wrights Corners Cemetery on Wednesday April 27, 2016 at 11 AM

NEWFANE - Mrs. Helena M.
Muir, 82. of Hess Rd., Newfane,
widow of Eason Muir, was pronounced
dead on arrival at Inter-
Community Memorial Hospital at
Newfane, Thursday (Aug. 3,
1961). She died unexpectedly while
en route to the hospital.
Mrs. Muir was horn Nov. 26,
1878 in Germany, the daughter of
Charles and Mary Herman Hagenmeier,
and came to this country
with her parents as a child.
Surviving her are a son, Leslie
Muir Sr., of Newfane; a sister,
Mrs. Martha Sharts of Lockport;
and seven grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Glenn
H. Corwin Funeral Home, Inc.,
2670 Main St., Newfane, this evening
from 7 to 9 and tomorrow
from 2 to 4 in the afternoon and
from 7 to 9 in the evening. Services
will be held at the funeral
home Sunday afternoon at 1:30,
Burial will be in Wright's Corners
Cemetery.

Mrs. Hannah Boots, 66, longtime
resident of this area, died
Friday evening at her home,
Saunders Settlement, RD 2 Lockport.
She was born in England,
April 21, 1887, but came to Niagara
County when quite young.
Mrs. Boots leaves her husband.
John W Boots, and 11 children
from two marriages Mrs. May
Hunt, who lives In England; Mrs.
Winifred Ryan. Hubert Bloom.
Gordon Bloom, Mrs. Lydia Mulr,
Orven Boots, and John Allen Boots,
Lockport; Robert Bloom, Cameron
Mills, N.Y.; George Bloom, a
Pennsylvania resident; Mrs. Edna
M a d d i n g , Buffalo; and Mrs
Josephine Maines. a resident of
Virginia.
Mrs. Boots had 39 grandchildren
and nine great grandchildren.
She was a member of the Past
Pocahontas Club, the Foresters,
the Eagles Auxiliary and American
Legion Auxiliary
Funeral services have been set
at 2 p.m. Monday afternoon at
the Clemens O. Gaul Funeral
Home. Burial will be in Cold
Springs Cemetery.
