    Sharon ( nee Dauman) Mangold of North Tonawanda, passed away November 20, 2016. Beloved wife of the late Roger Mangold; devoted mother of Deborah ( Michael ) Phelps, Kevin (Cheryl) Mangold, Laurie ( Chris) Fritz and the late Kimberly ( Kevin Hardy) Mangold; sister-in-law of Robert (Sylvia) Mangold; proud grandmother of eight and great grandmother of thirteen. Visitation will be Tuesday from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 PM at the WATTENGEL Funeral Home, 533 Meadow Drive in North Tonawanda. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 AM in the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Acacia Park Cemetery. Mrs. Mangold was a Bills and Sabres fan and a Quilter. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or Niagara Hospice.

    Creek Rd. Pfc. Mangold is
    with the Army Occupation forces
    in Munich, Germany. The wedding
    is planned in the near future.

    A pretty wedding was solemnized April 18 in Redeemer

    Lutheran Church when Miss Shirley Dauman became the
    bride of Roger A. Mangold. The Rev. H. G. Kleiner performed
    the double ring ceremony uniting in marriage the
    daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Dauman and the son of
    Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Mangold.
    John Emmett, soloist, sang I
    Love You Truly and The Lord's
    Prayer accompanied by the or-
    ganist, Mrs. John Hartwick.
    Given in marriage by her father,
    the bride wore a floor length gown
    of Chantilly lace and nylon tulle
    over satin. a Semi-torso bodice
    was fashioned with a scalloped
    neckline and tulle yoke and lon g
    lace sleeves. two panels of Chan-
    tilly lace featured the skirt of ny-
    lon tulle over satin. She wore a
    coronet of Chantilly lace and a circular

    veil trimmed with fine lace
    edge and carried an old-fashioned
    shower bouquet of white carna-
    tions.
    The maid of honor, Miss Norma
    Crosby, wore a gown of maise
    Chantilly lace with sheer yoke and
    bertha collar of shirred lace. She
    wore matching mitts of Chantilly
    lace and a tiara of pink carnations

    in her hair to match her
    shower bouquet.
    The bridesmaids were Miss Dol-
    ores Eggert, the bride's cousin,
    who wore an orchid gown and car-
    ried yellow carnations; Miss Bar-
    bara Mangold, the bridegroom's
    cousin, attired in pink and carry-
    ing pink carnations and Mrs.
    Phyllis Link in a blue gown, carry-
    ing pink carnations. All wore flow-
    ers in their hair.
    The flower girls, the Misses Anne
    and Carol Corbett, wore yellow
    frocks with off-shoulder necklines

    and full tulle overskirts over ruffle-
    edged skirts. They wore yellow
    bonnets and carried baskets of
    mixed carnations.
    Mr. Mangold chose Albert Heilemann
    as best man; and Karl Hildebrandt,
    Robert Mangold, his brother,
    and Robert Link as ushers.
    The bride's mother selected a
    navy blue taffeta dress with white
    collar and cuffs, white accessories
    and a corsage of mixed white flow-
    ers. The bridegroom's mother also
    wore navy blue taffeta. Her acces-
    sories and carnation corsage were
    in white.
    A dinner was given in the Isle
    View for the immediate family and
    a reception followed at the Wendel-
    ville Fire Hall.
    For a trip to Washington D.C.
    Mrs. Mangold chose a brown check
    suit with white collar and cuffs

    and brown and white accessories.
    Showers were given by Mrs.
    George Bush, Miss Norma Crosby,
    Miss Shirley Bush, Miss Delores
    Eggert, Mrs. Robert Link, Mrs. A.
    E. Mangold, Mrs. Herbert Basen-
    burg, Mrs. Michael Corbett, Miss
    Barbara Mangold, and Mrs. Sylves-
    ter Mangold.
    Mr. and Mrs. Roger Mangold are
    at home at 49 Longs Ave., Tona-
    wanda, N.Y.

    Mrs. Louise Rumbold, 71, of
    799 East Robinson street, died
    yesterday morning. Born in Germany,
    she had resided in North
    Tonawanda the greater part of
    her life. She leaves her husband,
    Valentine; three daughters, Mrs
    Raymond . Waterstrat of Tonawanda,
    Mrs. Alvin Dauman and
    Mrs. Beatrice Conner of North
    Tonawanda; a son, Arthur of
    North Tonawanda; three grandchildren,
    a sister, Mrs. Edward
    Urban, and a brother, Fred Krull
    of Tonawanda. Rites will be held
    Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock
    from the home of Mrs. Dauman,
    521 Wall street, North Tonawanda.
    The Rev. Walter F. Hetzel
    will officiate. Burial will be in
    Friedens cemetery.
