    Notes:

    Rudolph M. Janese, Sr. 78 of the Town of Niagara, NY passed away on Saturday April 30, 2016 at his home while under the care of Niagara Hospice. Born in Niagara Falls, NY he was the son of the late Frank C. and Ann G. (Pucci) Janese.

    Rudy was a lifelong resident of the Niagara Falls area and attended local schools. On December 5, 1956, he married Jean M. (MacKay) Janese. Rudy worked as an industrial electrician and in the maintenance department at SGL Carbon, formerly Great Lakes Carbon, as well as a baker for DiCamillo Bakery both in Niagara Falls. Rudy loved spending time in the outdoors fishing and hunting, and was a member of the Niagara River Anglers Association. He was also a passionate Cleveland Browns fan, and especially loved attending his grandchildren’s sporting events.

    In addition to his wife of 59 years, Rudy is survived by his three children, Rudolph M. (Amy) Janese, Jr. of Wheatfield, Jeffrey C. (Debra A.) Janese of the Town of Niagara and Tina (Peter) Coppins of Lewiston, eight grandchildren, Rudolph (Kelly) Janese, III, Christopher (Wendy) Janese, Andrew Janese, Rochelle (Cody) Siezega, Jessica Janese, Jeffrey Janese, Avery Coppins and Ryan Coppins, seven great-grandchildren and one on the way, five brothers, Frank (Rose) Janese of the Town of Niagara, Michael Janese of Lockport, Edward Janese of Las Vegas, Ronald (Claudia) Janese of California, Lawrence (late Carol) Janese of Niagara Falls, one sister Shirley Hare of Cleveland and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

    Visitation will be on Monday from 4 - 7 p.m. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY. Private entombment will be held in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls. Flowers are graciously declined. If desired memorial offerings may be made to Niagara Hospice 4675 Sunset Drive Lockport, NY 14094.

    Notes:

    Jean M. Janese, 82, passed away on June 19, 2020 at Our Lady of Peace Health Care Facility in Lewiston, NY.  Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late George and Helen (Turner)  MacKay.
    Jean attended local schools, graduating from Niagara Falls High School.  On December 5, 1956, she married Rudolph M. “Rudy” Janese.  Mr. Janese predeceased her on April 30, 2016 after 59 years of marriage.  Jean, along with her husband were longtime members of the Niagara Falls Moose Club.  She was an avid Sabres fan, and adored Rick Martin.  She enjoyed her daily mall walking at the Fashion Outlets with her friends. She also loved watching the band 90 West perform locally.  Above all, Jean cherished the time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
    Jean is survived by three children, Rudolph M. (Amy) Janese, Jr., Jeffrey C. (Debra A.) Janese and Tina (Peter) Coppins, nine grandchildren, Rudolph (Kelly) Janese, III, Christopher (Wendy) Janese, Andrew Janese, Rochelle (Cody) Siezega, Jessica (Chris Carpio) Janese, Jeffrey Janese, Avery Coppins and Ryan Coppins; nine great-grandchildren; her sisters, Linda (Bill) Foy and Beverly (late Chuck) Dyson, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
    Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 23rd from 4 – 7 PM at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY, where a service will be held at 7 PM. Due to recent circumstances, social distancing and masks will be required to adhere with current regulations. Private entombment will be held in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls.  Flowers are graciously declined.
