    Notes:

    Mr. Norman E. Starkweather, 79, of Albion, passed away June 15, 2016 at his home with his loving family by his side.


    He was born in the Town of Barre, August 3, 1936, a son of Louie and Alma (Brunning) Starkweather. Norm was a lifelong resident of Albion and graduated from Albion High School. He joined the US Army in 1955 and served for two years, including a tour in Italy. Norm enjoyed riding his motorcycle, telling a story about his motorcycle mishap, telling jokes, (even some corny ones), being funny and watching his westerns. Norm worked for Rice Homes for several years. He owned and operated Starkweather Construction until he retired in 2005. He sure could drive that bulldozer.


    Norm is predeceased by his father and mother, Louie and Alma Starkweather, his first wife, Marcia Thaine Starkweather, his granddaughter, Brandy Starkweather and step daughter, Patricia Stahl.


    Norm is survived by his wife, Carolyn (Wright) Starkweather; sons, Doug Starkweather and Jeff Starkweather; step daughter, Jacqueline (Joseph) Vasquez; grandchildren, Michael (Laura) Starkweather, Mitchell Starkweather, Morgan Haak; great grandchildren, Lily, Leah, and Madden Starkweather.


    Friends are invited to attend his Memorial Service on Tuesday at 1PM at the Free Methodist Church, 25 S. Platt St., Albion. Interment will be in Mt. Albion Cemetery.


    In lieu of flowers, memorials, in Norm’s name, may be made to Hospice of Orleans County, POB 489, Albion, NY 14411

    Bruning, 84, of 15669 Presbyterian
    Road, died Wednesday
    (June 25, 1969) in Medina Memorial
    Hospital. after a sixmonth
    illness.
    Mr. Brunning, born Aug. 20,
    1884, in the Town of Royalton,
    was the son of Henry and
    Augusta Reimer Bruning. His
    wife, the former Emma Klinke,
    died June 17, 1968.
    He was a retired farmer, Having
    followed that occupation for
    42'years in the Town of Barre,
    Orleans County, and moved here
    five years ago. He was a member
    of St. Peter Lutheran
    Church in Medina.
    Survivors include two daughters,
    Mrs. Floyd (Mabel) Smith,
    Lockport, and Mrs. Louie
    (Alma) Starkweather," Water-
    port; a son, Louis Bruning,
    Knowlesville; 10 grandchildren,
    7 great-grandchildren; five sisters,
    Mrs. Jennie Schilling and
    Mrs. Alma Stern, both of Middleport,
    Mrs. Viola Handrich, Wolcottsville,
    „ and Mrs. Augusta
    Reaboldt and Mrs. Ella Latsch,
    both of Lockport; two brothers,
    Ferdinand.Bruning, Albion, and
    Siegfried BrimLng; Medina, and
    several nieces and nephews.
    A sister, Mrs. Rosella Krpening,
    died in 1956.
    Friends may call today at the
    Wallace and - Heath Funeral
    Home, Middleport, from 2 to 4
    and 7 to 9 p.m., where funeral
    services will be- held Saturday
    at 2 p.m., the Rev,'P. H. Nemeschy
    of St. Peter Lutheran
    Church officiating.' Burial. will
    be-in Royalton Mountain Ridge
    Cemetery.

    A. Klinke Bruning, 79, of 12669
    Presbsyterian St. Knowlesvville,
    Orleans County, wife of Erwin
    M.. Bruning died Monday (June
    17, 1968) at her home after suf-
    fering an apparent heart attack.
    She had been ill for several
    months.
    She was born April 9, 1889, in
    the Town of Ridgeway, Oreleans,
    the daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
    Fred Klinke. She had lived in
    the Town of Barre, Orleans, for
    42 years, moving to Knowles-
    ville four years ago.
    Mrs.. Bruning was a member
    of St. Peter Lutheran Church,
    Medina.
    Besides her husband, sur-
    vivors include two daughters,
    Mrs. Lloyd (Mabel) Smith,
    Lockport, and Mrs. Louie
    (Alma) Starkweather, Water-
    port; a son, Louis Bruning,
    Lyndonville; 10 grandchildren
    and five great-grandchildren; a
    brother,, Paul Klinke,, Albion,
    and several nieces and nephews.
    Friends may call today and
    Wednesday frorm 2 to 4 and 7
    to 9 p.m. at the Wallace and
    Heath Funeral Home, where
    services will be held at 2 p.m.
    Thursday, the Rev. Carl J.
    Scheidt of St. Peter Church of-
    ficiating. Burial will be in Roy-
    alton Mountain Ridge Cemetery.
