Rilla Jean (Owens) Keel, 64, of Niagara Falls NY, has returned to God’s embrace after passing away
peacefully at her home.
She was born August 25, 1959 in Niagara Falls to the late William and Bonna-Vear Owens.
Rilla is survived by her daughters April (Jason) Lund, Lorena (Ian) Cap, grandchildren Ava Lund
and Aidan Cap. Sister to Renae Owens, Robyn (Stephan) Brese, Stephen (Susan) Owens, and
Aunt to Jason (Page), Josh and Emily Owens.
Her love for cooking, flowers, and her family was known to anyone who spent time with her.
Generous in spirit, she dedicated her life to the food-service industry and worked in many
restaurants locally.
Visiting hours Saturday, June 8, 2024 from 1-4 PM in the  Lane Funeral Home, Inc.,  8622 Buffalo Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY. 
Interment will be in private at the convenience of the family.

Bonna-Vear (Bonnie) Owens, August 14, 1916. Our strong, supportive, loving matriarch who was happiest when celebrating life with her family, passed way peacefully surrounded by all her children. Loving wife of 63 years to the late William. Amazing Mom to Renae Owens, Stephen (Susan) Owens, Rilla Owens, Robyn (Stephan) Brese. Cherished Grandma to April (Jason) Lund, Lorena (Ian) Cap, Jason, Emily and Joshua Owens. Beloved Great grandma to Ava Lund and Aidan Cap. Sister to Paul Gilmore, Darlene Reilley, late Bruce Gilmore and daughter of the late Rev. Paul and Lorena Gilmore. Friends may call Tuesday after 11 AM in the LANE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 8622 Buffalo Avenue, Niagara Falls, where Funeral services will be held at 1 PM. The interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
