Patricia Ann Castiglione “Patty” (nee Laganiak) 59, of North Tonawanda on Sunday August 21, 2016 at home surrounded by her family after a long battle with cancer. Patricia worked for the law office of Jon Louis Wilson in Lockport as a Legal Assistant specializing in Real Estate. She loved her family and sharing time with them. Patty enjoyed gardening, reading, and golfing with her husband and friends. She was a SUDOKU enthusiast and spent many years enjoying softball and volleyball with the “Animals” and the great times after the games.
Loving wife of Leo J. Castiglione of North Tonawanda. Dear daughter of Tatjana Laganiak and the late Trofim Laganiak. Beloved mother of Sarah and Gina Castiglione. Dearest sister of Olga Kasprzak, Maria Laganiak, Helena (Roger) Staddon, John (Michelle) Laganiak, Peter Laganiak, Janet (David) Laganiak, Lisa (Daniel) Brick, and Tammy (Donald) Vickerd. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Trofim Laganiak, Age 89, of North Tonawanda on Monday October 20, 2014 at his residence after a long illness. Trofim was a member of St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church. Trofim was born in the Ukraine and immigrated to the United States in 1950. He was employed by Remington Rand Company and the West Seneca Developmental Center until his retirement. He enjoyed spending time with his family. Beloved husband of Tatjana Laganiak. Loving father of Olga Kasprzak, Mary Laganiak, Helen (Roger) Staddon, Patrica (Leo) Castiglione, John (Michelle) Laganiak, Peter Laganiak, Janet (David Zobrist) Laganiak, Lisa (Daniel, Jr.) Brick and Tammy (Donald) Vickerd. Proud grandfather of 10 grandchildren. Friends received by the family on Wednesday, 4-8 P.M. at the Brunner Funeral Home, (692-3841), 156 Robinson St., North Tonawanda. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday morning at 10:00 at St. John the Baptist Ukranian Catholic Church, 3275 Elmwood Ave., Kenmore. Please Assemble at the Church. Tatjana (Tanya) Laganiak, age 90, of North Tonawanda on Sunday December 4, 2022. Tatjana was a member of North Tonawanda Kingdom Hall. She was born in the Ukraine and immigrated to the United States in 1950. Tatjana was an avid gardener and was always helping out in the gardens of others. She also loved to clip and share recipes with everyone. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandma. Tatjana was a kind woman who always thought of others before herself.


Beloved wife of the late Trofim Laganiak. Loving mother of Olga (Paul Dumais) Kasprzak, Mary Laganiak, Helen (Roger) Staddon, the late Patricia (Leo) Castiglione, John (Michelle) Laganiak, Peter (Carol Giammara) Laganiak, Janet (David Zobrist) Laganiak, Lisa (Daniel, Jr) Brick and Tammy Vickerd. Devoted grandmother of Joseph Kasprzak, Julie Runge, Timothy Brick, Christine Cieri, Daniel Brick III, Sarah Joseph, Gina Whitaker, Kaitlyn Laganiak, Erik Vickerd and Jake Vickerd.
