    Notes:

    Of Lewiston, NY, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Friday, September 2, 2016, in Mt. St. Mary's Hospital. He was born in Niagara Falls, NY, on January 27, 1940, the son of the late Edward and Helen [Mosolf] Evert.

    Mr. Evert graduated from Niagara Falls High School in 1958 and from Niagara University in 1968. He was an accountant with Moore Business Forms for over 36 years, before retiring in 1995 and served as the budget officer with the Town of Lewiston for three years. Mr. Evert was a member of Lewiston Kiwanis Club, an honorary member of the AOH and was actively involved with the United Way and many other organizations over the years. He loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing golf, boating and billiards. He was an avid Buffalo Bills fan.

    Mr. Evert is survived by his wife of 50 years, Cecelia A. [Greene] Evert, they were married on August 27, 1966, three sons Eric Evert, Craig (Tracey) Evert and Darryl (Patricia Robles) Evert, one daughter Shannon (Marc) Niccola, five grandchildren Taegan and Peyton Evert, Jacob and Jordan Niccola and Ella Ann Evert, a brother Steven (Mary) Evert, a sister Julie Martin and was the brother in law of Eileen Evert, he is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Lee Evert.

    His family will be present on Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 901 Cayuga Street, LEWISTON, NY, where funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 AM, with Msgr. David G. LiPuma officiating.

    Memorials may be made in his name to UNYTS, 110 Broadway, Buffalo, NY 14203.
