DeWitt P. Barnhart passed a-
way at. his home, 10 East Ave"
Wednesday, May 19, 1954, after
several weeks illness. -
Mr. Barnhart was born in Pe-
rinton February 16, 1870, and was
united in marriage to Mary Bul-
man in 1891. Mrs. Barnhart passed
away in 1950.. They had three chil-
dren who survive them, a daughter
Mrs. Mabel Caster of Fairport
two sons, Lewis of Fairport and
DeWitt of Rochester. He is also
survived by six grandchildren, five
geat grandchildren and several
nieces and nephews.
Mr. Barnhart had the distinction
of being the oldest business man
in Fairport and the.oldest Meyer
Pump Dealer in New York State.
He was in partnership with D, B.
Fuller in the farm implement bu-
siness for several years! After Mr.
Fuller's death Mr. Barnhart con-
tinued by himself.
For 24 years, from 1916 to 1942,
Mr. Barnhart was a member of
the School Board. He also at one
time served on the "Village Foard
and was a member of the Fairport
Protective . Association. He was
also a member of Fairport Mason-
ic lodge for many years.

DeWitt married BULMAN, Mary on 18 Nov 1891 in New York. Mary (daughter of BULMAN, John Henry and SCOTT, Jane) was born on 3 Apr 1870 in Penfield, Monroe County, NY; died on 28 Dec 1950 in Fairport, Monroe County, NY. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

Funeral services were held on
Sunday for Mrs. Mary B. Barn-
hart who died at her home on
East Ave on Dec. 28, 1950. Rev.
Robert B. Marr officiated and
burial was in Oakwood Ceme-
tery.
Penfield April 3, 11870 was mar-
ried on Nov. 18, 1891 and had
lived for the past 52 years, in
Fairport. She is survived by her
husband, DeWitt C; one daugh-
ter, and two sojw, Mrs,. Mabel
Castor and Lewis of Fairport,
DeWitt Jr. of Rochester; four
brothers, William, Byron, George
and Robert Bulman, all of Fair-
port; five grandchildren, five
great .- grandchildren, several
nieces and nephews

John Bulman, for many years a
resident of the town of Perinton, died
Sunday morning at his home on the
Turk Hill road at the age of 88 years
The funeral will be held this afternoon
at 2:30 o'clock at the house, and in-
terment will be made in Oakwood
cemetery, Penfield. Besides his'wife,
Jane Scott Bulman, he is survived by
one daughter, Mrs. DeWitt C. Barn-
hart, of Fairport and five sons, -Wil-
liam, John, George, Byron and Robert,
all of the town of Perinton.

Mrs. Jane Scott Bulman, one of the
aged residents of the town of Perin-
ton, passed away at her home on the
Turk Hill road Sunday. She was 81
years of age, the widow of the late
John Bulman.
She leaves one daughter,.Mrs. De-
witt C Barnhart, of Fairport; five
sons, William, .John, George,. Byron
and Robert Bulman, of Perinton, and
several grandchildren.
The funeral was held Tuesday af-
ternoon and interment was made in
Oakwood cemetery, Penfield.
Mrs. Bulman's maiden name was
Scott, she being a daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. William Scott, of Carlisle,
England.
