    John Arthur Miller, age 63, of Newfane, entered into rest on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at Strong Memorial Hospital. Born December 8, 1952 in Lockport, John is the son of Rosemary (Moje) Miller and the late John A. Miller Sr.
    John graduated from Newfane High School. He served his country in the US Navy. John had worked at Equistar in Burt, NY, where they specialize in Therapeutic Riding, Home Depot and Tops Market. He also previously owned and operated PDQ Print Shop in Clarence,NY.
    Coming from a large family, John enjoyed spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. John liked to coach his daughters in their softball league. He also enjoyed playing cards with his family especially his mother and sister.
    Surviving John are his dear daughters, Herinka (Anthony) Parkes, Ericka (Michael) Sullivan and Melanie (Jon) Ormond; his loving grandchildren, Aaron Chunco, Samuel Ormond, Adelina Parkes, Allison Sullivan and Alessaundra Parkes; son of Rosemary Miller and the late John Miller Sr.; brother of: Maryann Miller, David Miller, Joseph (Nancy) Miller, Janet Federspiel, Charles Miller, Annette Louise, Michael (Catherine) Miller, Theresa (Michael) Evans, Clarence (Hope) Miller, Wallace (Katie) Miller, Helen (Brian) Cox and Rosemary Larkin. John is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
    There will be no prior visitation. Services will be held at the convenience of the family.

    John Arthur Miller, Sr., age 79, of Lockport, entered into rest on Monday, January 17, 2011 at Eastern Niagara Hospital at Newfane. Born January 3, 1932 in Buffalo, he was the son of the late Clarence and Helen (Riedell) Miller.. John graduated from Lockport Senior High School in 1951. He married Rosemary Moje October 16, 1951 in Bel Air, Maryland. John served in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict from 1951 until 1955 on the USS Tidewater in the Atlantic Fleet. He retired in 1995 from Niagara County Water District. He previously worked at Frontier Stone in Lockport for 16 years. John was an avid hunter and AKC Golden Retriever dog breeder. John was also known for his stone masonry particularly the stone work that he did at his home both inside and out on Ewings Road. He was a member of the Niagara County Historical Society, Newfane Historical Society and a life member of the Newfane American Legion #0873. He is a member of St. Brendan's On The Lake Newfane Site formerly St. Bridget's R. C. Church since 1958. He was a former president of the Holy Name Society at St. Bridget's R. C. Church.. He is survived by his loving wife, Rosemary. Dear father of John A. (Deborah) Miller, Jr. of Lockport, Mary Ann Miller of Lockport, David Miller of Burt, Joseph (Nancy) Miller of King George, VA, Janet Miller Federspiel of Lockport, Charles (Laurie) Miller of Boones Mill, VA, Annette Louise of Wilson, Michael (Cathy) Miller of Lockport, Theresa (Michael) Evans of Morganton, NC, Clarence (Hope) Miller of Niagara Falls, NY, Wallace (Leah) Miller of Coopers Mill, AZ, Helen (Brian) Cox of Springfield, IL and Rosemary (James) Larkin of Lockport, NY. Brother of the late David "Bubs" Miller and Lillian Westcott. Brother-in-law of Roy Westcott of Lockport. 38 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews also survive him.. Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation at the Kenneth H. Sherrie Funeral Home, 6139 East Avenue, Newfane on Thursday, January 20, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, January 21, 2011 at 11:00 AM from St. Brendan's On the Lake, Newfane Site, 3455 Ewings Road, Lockport, NY 14094 with the Reverend Robert Wozniak officiating. Interment will be in Hartland Central Cemetery, Gasport, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to American Diabetes Association, American Heart Association or to the Newfane American Legion #0873..     Obituary of Rosemary Miller

    Rosemary M. Miller passed away November 24, 2021 under the care of Niagara Hospice.  Born December 8, 1931 in Lockport she was the daughter of Wallace and Mary Anna (Monkelbaan) Moje.  Rosemary was a beloved member of the Newfane Historical Society and the Niagara County Federation of Historical Societies since 1981 and was predeceased by her husband John A. Miller, Sr. in 2011.
    Rosemary is survived by her children Mary Ann Miller, David Miller, Joseph (Nancy) Miller, Charles Miller, Annette Louise, Michael Miller, Theresa Evans, Clarence (Hope) Miller, Wally (Katie) Miller, Helen (Brain) Cox, Rosemary (Bruce) Garber, and the late John A. Miller, Jr., and Janet Federspiel; siblings Barbara (Jerome) Hobart, Ann (Norman) Maerten, and the late Alice Alexander, Henrietta Boulton, and Robert Moje; also survived by several nieces and nephews and their families.
    Rosemary was very proud of and leaves behind a legacy of thirty-five grandchildren, fifty-one great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
    Relatives and friends may call Monday, November 29th from 4-7 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, November 30th at 10 AM in St. Brendan’s On The Lake, 3455 Ewings Rd., Newfane.  Interment will be in Hartland Central Cemetery.  Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
