Milford R. Ortt, 92, a life long resident of North Tonawanda, NY entered into the loving arms of Jesus with his loving family by his side on October 14, 2016 at Niagara Hospice House. Milford was born on December 22, 1923 in Cambria, NY. He was a WWII Veteran who served in the Army Air Corps in the Pacific Theatre. He was employed by Kimberly Clark and later by Aurora Casket Company. He attended the Chapel at Cross Point in Getsville, NY. Milford was predeceased by his brothers Gordon, James, Donald, and Ronald Ortt, sister Bertha Russell, and brother -in -law John DeGregorio.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Ruth (DeGregorio), sons Robert (Suzette) and Duane Ortt, grandfather of Senator Robert (Meghan) Ortt, and Dr. Kori (Ryan) Gawrys. He was Big Papa to his great grandchildren Riley and Reid Gawrys. He was survived by his sisters Charlotte Stoner, Annabelle DiNicolantonia, Betty Tuttle, and Carol (Patrick) Brown, brother in law of Esther Sprouse,of Roanoke, Virginia. also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Monday from 2-4 and 6-9 P.M. at the Wattengel Funeral Home, 533 Meadow Drive North Tonawanda, NY 14120. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 A.M. from the Chapel at Crosspoint , 500 Crosspoint Pkwy, Getzville, Interment to follow at White Chapel Memorial Park, Amherst, NY. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Niagara Hospice House.

Ruth (DeGregorio) Ortt, 90, a life long resident of North Tonawanda, entered into the arms of Jesus with her loving family by her side at home, March 19, 2018 under the care of Niagara Hospice. She was predeceased by her husband, Milford Ortt, who died in October 2016, two brothers John and Guarino, Jr. DeGregorio. 
Ruth was born in Niagara Falls, NY on January 16, 1928 to Guarino and Mary (Petrolino) DeGregorio. Ruth graduated from Trott Vocational High School in June of 1946. She attended The Chapel at CrossPoint in Getsville.
Ruth is survived by her sons Robert (Suzette), and Duane Ortt, grandmother to Senator Robert (Meghan) Ortt, and Dr. Kori (Ryan) Gawrys, GiGi to her great-grandsons Riley and Reid Gawrys, sister of Esther Sprouse of Daleville, VA, and aunt to Mary (DeGregorio) Todd, Michael John DeGregorio, and April (Sprouse) Graybill.
