    Cherished daughter of the late Archibald and late Marion Thompson. Devoted wife of the late Ronald C Helwig. Loving sister of the late Daniel (Sylvia) Thompson and late Thomas Thompson. Survived by Larry (Marianne) Helwig, the late Kevin (Joyce) Helwig, Amy (John) Daigler, Jody (Ross) Rains, Jill (Stephen) Cuccia, and Gail (Brian) Quinn. Beloved grandmother of Michelle (Matt ) Georger, Jason (Martha Harlukiewicz) Helwig, Jessica (Nick) Iwanicki, Adam (Oy McPeters) Daigler, Ashley (Cort) Fondon, Abbey Rains, Marie Cuccia, Kacey and Katey Quinn. Also survived by five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
    A Celebration of Life will take place at 3 PM on July 16, 2017 at North Presbyterian Church, 168 Payne Ave., North Tonawanda. Family and friends welcome. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association.

    Hospital.
    Mr. Helwig had been a resident
    of North Tonawanda for the
    past 42 years. He was an employe
    of The Wurlitzer Co. He is
    survived by his wife, Ruth a.
    (nee Woodrich); a daughter,
    Mrs. Charles (Shirley) Pacini of
    Eden, N.Y. and a son, Ronald
    C. Helwig of North Tonawanda.
    Also surviving are eight grand-
    children, and three sisters, Mrs.
    Haarold Johnson of Buffalo, Mrs
    Philip Trembley of Florida and
    Mrs. Jacob Allenbach of Tona-
    wanda.
    Friends may call at Fretthold
    Funeral Home, 1241 Oliver St. at
    Ward Road, North Tonawanda,
    where services will be Thursday
    at 2 p.m. The family will be in
    attendance from 2 to 5 and 7 to
    9 p.m. Interment will be in Aca-
    cia Park Cemetery. Memorials
    may be made to Third Presby-
    terian Church.

    The marriage of Miss Ruth Wood-
    rich, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Char-
    les Woodrich of 106 East Felton
    street, to Carl B. Helwig of 77 King
    street was solemnized Saturday at
    the home of the bride's parents. Rev.
    Willis P. Hume of Third Presbyter-
    ian church officiated.
    Miss Lena Drier was the. bride's.attendant
    and Mr. Charles Woodrich,
    brother of the bride, was best man.
    The bride ware a gown of blue crepe
    and the bride's attendant was gowned
    In greeu crepe. Both had corsage
    bouquets of white roses.
    A wedding dinner was served fol-
    lowing the ceremony with covers for
    10 at the bride's table. Guests were
    present from Buffalo, Detroit and La
    Salle. Decorations were in pink and
    white with blue and white baskets of
    mints as favors.
    The bride's gift to her attendants
    was a string of amber beads. Mr.
    and Mrs. Helwig will be at home at
    106 East Felton street after March
    15.

    He is survlvved by his wife. Rena;

    Rest Haven cemetery.

    rich, nee Bergemann, 74, of Errick
    Rd., Town of Wheatfield, died
    in the Sweeney St. Nursing Home
    Sunday evening after a long ill-
    ness. She was the wife of the late
    Charles Henry Woodrich, mother
    of Mrs. Carl Helwig of North Ton-
    awanda, Mrs. Walter Mccombs of
    Niagara Falls, and Mrs. Alvin
    Diebold of Town of Wheatfied.
    Survivors also include seven
    grandchildren, 14 great-grandchil-
    dren, and a brother, Fred Berge-
    mann of Lockport. She was a
    member of Twin City Council 37
    Daughters of America; Royal
    Neighbors of America; Women-s
    Benefit Association, Rosedale Re-
    bekah Lodge 386, and Third Pres-
    byterian Church. The Rebekah
    Lodge will conduct services at 7
    p.m. Tuesday in Fretthold Funer-
    al Home. Friends may call at the
    funeral home, 1241 Oliver St.,
    where services will be at 2 p.m.,
    Wednesday, the Rev. Richard Bo-
    dey officiating. Burial in Rest Ha-
    ven Cemetery.
