Steffie and John hosted annual Labor Day picnics where the whole family would gather at their home, and she would make her special recipe potato salad and famous chocolate and lemon pies. Christmas Eve at Steffie and John's home were also much-loved times when her children, grandchildren and eventually great-grandchildren would be treated to a wonderful holiday meal. Steffie and John also enjoyed an active retirement, traveling to the Bahamas and Hawaii, going on cruises and taking many trips to a wide variety of cities across the country for annual Navy reunions. Even with all the traveling, Steffie's favorite place was home, where she welcomed family, friends and neighbors with a warm smile and an invitation to come in and visit. Stephanie was blessed to live a full and love-filled life and will be greatly missed by all. No prior visitation. Family and friends are asked to gather at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church (Oliver St.) for a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated on MONDAY, July 2 at 9:30 AM. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
