    Notes:

    Of Youngstown, NY, passed away on November 22, 2016, in Mercy Hospital, Buffalo, NY. He was born in Niagara Falls, NY, on July 28, 1931, the son of the late Emmett J. and Genevieve L. (Orszulak) Stack.


    Mr. Stack attended Niagara Falls High School, Niagara University and graduated from University of Buffalo Law School. He served with the US Army, during the Korean War. Mr. Stack had his own private law practice but also represented the Police and Fire Unions throughout Western New York and was the legal counsel for the Niagara Falls Police Department from 1992, until retiring in 2012. He was the Past Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus Counsel # 247 and was a founding member of the reformation of the AOH, where he served as State Treasurer.


    Mr. Stack was also very active in many organizations and events through the years.
    He played with the Blarney Bunch and enjoyed singing, playing the accordion and tending his garden.


    He is survived by his wife of 30 years Barbara [Orlowski] Stack and was the husband of the late Anmarie T. [D'Amico] Stack who passed away in August of 1985 and father of Robin (Christopher Kopera) Stack, Timothy Stack, Patrick (Cathi) Stack, Deborah (Richard) Fleck, Denise (Peter) Szatkowski and Chester (Nancy) Przylucki, grandfather of Ricky Fleck, Caroline (Joshua) Miller, Caitlin (Andrew) Olson, Krista Szatkowski, Christopher Przylucki, Joshua Stack, Sean Bird, Matthew Przylucki, Samantha Stack and Kayla Szatkowski, great-grandfather of Donovan and Nolan Miller and Bella Marie Olson and brother of Gerald F. (Kirsten) Stack and Kevin J. (Rose Marie) Stack and also survived by many nieces and nephews.


    His family will be present on Friday from 3-8 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 901 Cayuga Street, LEWISTON, NY. Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday at 10:00 AM, at St. Bernard's Church, 218 Hinman Street, Youngstown, NY, with Msgr. David G. LiPuma officiating.


    Memorials may be made in his name to the Down Syndrome Association of Niagara.
    Entombment with Military Honors in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.
