Obituary of Henry F. Zmudzinski
Henry F. ''Hank'' Zmudzinski, 85, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. Born in Niagara Falls, NY on January 29, 1936 he was the son of the late Stanley and Eva M. (Galganski) Zmudzinski. Hank entered the United States Army National Guard on April 18, 1955 and was honorably discharged as a SP3 on April 17, 1958. He worked at Occidental Chemical Corporation as a chemical operator, retiring after 42 years there. In his spare time, Hank was an avid hunter and gardener. His garden took up his entire yard and was his pride and joy. He also enjoyed going for long bike rides and he rode his bike daily. He is survived by his wife, Carol (Bailey) Zmudzinski; children, Debra (Roland) Sparks, Darlene Zmudzinski, Robert (Stephanie) Zmudzinski, Diane (Ronald) Duchnick and Stephanie (Eric) Frain; eleven grandchildren and six great- grandchildren. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Edwin S. (Jane) Zmudzinski; sisters, Adele (Curtice) Dent, Irene (Joseph) Osheski and Loretta Gorrow. Friends may call Wednesday, January 5th from 4-7 PM at ZAJAC FUNERAL HOME INC., 319 24th Street, cor of Welch Ave, Niagara Falls, NY, where funeral services with Military honors will begin at 6:30 PM with Rev. Jacek Mazur officiating. Burial in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY, will take place at the convenience of the family.
