    Notes:

    Lillian M. (Arnone) Ricotta, 98, of Lewiston, NY, passed away on Monday, January 16,2017 at N.F. Memorial Medical Center. Born in Niagara Falls, NY she was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Catherine (Valenti) Arnone.

    Lillian was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls until moving to Lewiston in 2007. On January 26, 1935, she married Leonard J. Ricotta at St. Joseph Church. Mr. Ricotta predeceased her on February 8,1999. During World War II she worked at Bell Aircraft and later at the former St. Mary’s Hospital in Niagara Falls until retiring in 1980. Lillian was a devout Catholic and lifetime member of St. Joseph Church. She was also faithful member of the Madonna Del Perpetuo Soccorso Society, the Ladies Cristoforo Colombo Society and the I.S.D.A. Cataract Lodge #240. In her leisure time, she enjoyed cooking and tending to her garden. She also loved animals and playing bingo.

    Above all, Lillian’s life was dedicated to her family. She cherished the times spent together during family gatherings which she loved cooking for. Lillian was truly the center of her family’s heart and she will be greatly missed, but forever loved.

    Lillian is survived by three children Samuel (Patricia) Ricotta, Marilyn (Paul) Nicoletti, Nardene (Richard) Bradt and was predeceased by one daughter Mary Louise Ricotta. She is also survived by seven grandchildren Andrea (Tim) Carroll, Anthony (Assunta) Nicoletti, Lennie Ann (Marcan) Giannini, Samuel D. Ricotta, Mark (Karen) Nicoletti, Michael Nicoletti and Julie Ann Nicoletti; ten great grandchildren Jordyn Carroll, Mia Giannini, Mark A. Nicoletti, Giuliana Nicoletti, Bailey Giannini, Lillian Kilmer, Avery Nicoletti, Aaron Nicoletti, Rosalina Nicoletti and Daniel Nicoletti; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by one sister Beatrice (late Vincent James) Mangione; two brothers Samuel (late Frances) Arnone and Peter (late Rose) Arnone

    Visitation will be Wednesday from 4 – 8 P.M. at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERALCHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY, where funeral services will begin on Thursday, January, 19th at 9:15 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 A.M. in Holy Family Parish at St. Joseph Church, 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Holy Family Parish 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY 14301 or to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Memorial and Honor Program, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
