    Beloved wife of the late Norman W.; dearest mother of Laurie Gaskill Rosebrock and the late Kyle (Mary) Gaskill; grandmother of Matthew, Eric and Daniel Rosebrock, Michael Gaskill and Kimberly Johnson; great-grandmother of Lucille and Violette Rosebrock and Jayden Johnson; daughter of the laste Henry Herbst and the late Ida (nee Trippinsee); also survived by loving nephews and nieces. 
    Relatives and friends may call Saturday from 9-11 AM at THE URBAN BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, INC., 6685 Transit Rd., East Amherst, NY (south of County and North French Rds.) with services at 11 AM. 
    In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to the Alzheimer's Association.

    Funeral Tuesday For H. J. Herbst
    CAMBRIA CENTER - Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday for Henry John Herbst, 71. of Ridge Rd, well known Niagara County fruit and vegetable
    grower. The Rev. Herbert Siegner, pastor of St. Peter's Evangelical and Reformed
    Lutheran Church, Lockport, will conduct the service at the family home where Mr. Herbst died unexpectedly Saturday June 2, 1956). Burial will be in North Ridge Cemetery. Mr. Herbst had arrived home from Memorial Hospital. Niagara Falls, where he had been undergoing treatment for a kidney ailment, only 15 minutes before he was fatally stricken. A native of Clarence, Mr. Herbst had operated a farm here for 14 years- and had been active in farm organizations. In addition to his wife, Ida Trippensee Herbst, he is survived by a son, Elmore Herbst. at home; a daughter, Mrs. Ward Gaskill, Newfane; three brothers, August Herbst, Williamsville, Herman Herbst, Clarence, and Albert Herbst, Cambria; two sisters. Mrs. Frederick Bugenhagen, Lockport, and Mrs. William Wendler, Attica, and four grandchildren.

    She had been in Lockport
    Memorial Hospital for
    the last five weeks.

    was a daughter of the late
    Frederick and Mary Lindele
    Herbst, Cambria; a daughter,
    Mrs. Lucille Gaskill, Newfane;
    three brothers, Harold Trip-
    pensee, Johnson Creek, Fred-
    derick Trippensee, Sea b r i n g ,
    Fla., and Adolph Trippensee,
    Cambria; three sisters, Mrs.
    William Strassburg, P ek i n,

    and Mrs. George Smith, Vero
    Beach, Fla.; and six grandchildren.
    F r i e n d s may call at the
    Sherrie Funeral Home, New-
    fane, where services will be
    conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday
    by Rev. Herbert L. Siegner of
    St. Peter's United Church of
    Christ, Lockport. Burial will
    be in North Ridge Cemetery.
    Donations to the American
    Cancer Society are acceptable
    as memorial tributes, the fam-
    ily said.
