    Roland Lee Bradley, age 65 of Ransomville, died unexpectedly on Wednesday May 31, 2017 in the Buffalo General Medical Center.

    Lee was born June 4, 1951in Ransomville, NY, the son of Betty (Norman) Daniels and the late Rolland "Spike" Bradley. A lifelong resident of Ransomville, Lee was a 1969 graduate of Wilson High School. He was a U.S. Navy Vietnam Era veteran having served with the "SeaBees". Lee was employed as a Supervisor/Equipment Manager by Modern Disposal and later he owned and operated R.L. Bradley Inc. until his retirement in November of 2016. He married Michele Bradley on July 2, 2005.

    Lee was a motor and racing enthusiast. He was an avid member of the NHRA, a drag racing fan and driver, and a member of the Gasser Racing Series. He loved spending time with family and friends, always making friends and willing to help those friends at any time.

    He is survived by his wife, Michele; his mother, Betty; his children, Aaron and Nathan Bradley, Jamilynn and Ryan (Emily) Bradley; his step children, Ed (Angie) Ciura and Christen (Andy) Hyde; his brothers, Thomas (Lynn), Michael (Sheila), and Mitchell (Terri) Bradley; his grandchildren, Mackenzie Clogston, Trent Bradley, Megan, Nicholas, Julia, Ashley, and Jason Ciura, Francesca and Conrad Hyde; and several nieces and nephews.

    Friends may call at HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville on
    Sunday from 3 - 8 pm. Funeral Services will be held Monday, June 5, at 11:00 AM in the Ransomville Free Methodist Church, 3924 Ransomville Rd., with the Pastor, Rev. William Lowery, officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Ransomville Vol. Fire Co. Ambulance Fund, PO Box 239, Ransomville, NY 14131.

    Betty J. Daniels, age 90, of Ransomville and wife Norman Daniels and the late Rolland “Spike” Bradley died on Friday, December 11, 2020 at her home in Ransomville. Betty was born November 30, 1930 in Niagara Falls, NY. She is the daughter of the late Delbert J. and the late Emma J. (Burnett) Mattoon. Betty worked at Senior Meadows as a Nutritionist for 28 years. She enjoyed gardening, walking, hiking, baking, and spending time with her family. She was a lifelong member of the Ransomville United Methodist Church.She is survived by her husband: Norman; her children , Thomas (Lynn) Bradley, Michael (Sheila) Bradley and Mitchell (Terri) Bradley; her stepchildren, Rodney (Tami) Daniels and Tammi (Bo) Murrell, also 23 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her first husband Rolland Bradley; her son R. Lee Bradley; her sister Hazel Lederhouse and her brothers Clarence, George, and Delbert Mattoon.Family and friends may attend visitation on WEDNEDAY from 10- 1 PM at the HARDISON FUNERAL HOMES INC. 3648 Ransomville Road.     MIAMI, Fla. - The search at
    sea for Mrs. Darts Bradley, St, of
    Ransomville, has been discontinued,
    the Coast Guard said today.
    Mrs. Bradley has been missing
    since Saturday whan the 16-foot
    motorboat in which she waa riding
    with a Wilson couple, a Town of
    Lockport man, and two Floridians,
    capsized.
    The six were thrown into the
    cboppy Atlantic about 80 miles
    south of Miami.
    Rescued were Stephen M. and
    Ann Carveth of Wilson and Harry
    Mawhiney, Upper Mountain Rd.
    Two Floridians also on the boat
    when it capsized, Jack Carlton
    and William Weldow, also were
    rescued.
    2 SUFFER SHOCK
    Mrs. Carveth and Mr. Weldow
    were taken to a Key West hospital
    suffering from shock.
    The Coast Guard sent a helicopter
    to search the area for Mrs.
    Bradley. The survivors said she
    was wearing a life Jacket.
    Mrs. Bradley's husband, Roy L.
    Bradley, 60, was in another craft
    some distance ahead of his wifejs
    when the accident occurred
    The Bradleys left Ransemville
    by automobile last Monday for
    Florida where they were joined
    by Mr. and Mrs. Carveth and Mr.
    Mawhiney.

    When the boat capsized the persons
    aboard were thrown into the
    ocean about three miles north of
    Alligator Beef. Those rescued
    were picked up by a charter beat.
    The accident occurred Saturday
    afteroon about 2:45. The boat was
    recovered by Angus Boatwright of
    Islamorada, Fla.
    Mrs."Bradley was a member of
    Fillmore Methodist Church and the
    treasurer of its Women's Christian
    Temperance Union. The Bradleys
    have a son,, Roland of Ransom-
    ville,, who operates a farm with
    his father. One daughter, Mrs.
    Helen Regan, resides in Youngs-
    town and another, Mrs. Dorothy
    Wright, in Las Vegas, Nev.
