Wayne B. Gow Of Newfane, NY, husband of Darlene Braun Gow went home to be with the Lord surrounded by his family on Monday June 5, 2017 in Eastern Niagara Hospital Lockport, NY. He was born in Newfane, NY on August 22, 1940, the son of the late John and Naomi Ray Gow. Wayne served in the U.S. Navy as a Machinist's Mate 3rd Class from 1957- 1961. He worked at Simonds Saw and Steel from 1961-1968 then retired from Harrison Radiator in 1999. Wayne loved spending time with his grandchildren. Father of John Gow, Laura Gow, Darcy (Clarissa) Gow and Tanya Gow. Grandfather of Natalee, Kaylee and Melissa (Tim) Carlyon. Great Grandfather of Jacob Monn. Brother of John (Evelyn) Gow of Newfane, Ray (Claudia) Gow of Florida, Janis (Philip) Toenniessen of Newfane and the late Gary Gow. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Family and friends may call at the RUTLAND-CORWIN FUNERAL HOME, INC. Main St. Newfane, NY on THURSDAY from 2-4 and 7-9PM where a Funeral Service will be held on FRIDAY at 11AM. Burial will be in Corwin Cemetery.

Dorothy M. (Wolf) Fitzgerald entered into peace on September 25, 2016 in Briody Health Care Facility. Born June 20, 1921 in Niagara Falls, NY, she was a daughter of the late Frank L. and Ida (Berger) Wolf. In 1940 she married Howard R. Fitzgerald on January 27 at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church by Reverend Gustave Ziemer. In 1949 the family moved to Wilson where she and Howard owned and operated several restaurants in Wilson and Newfane. A life member of the Order of the Eastern Star Flagler Chapter #355, her husband predeceased her in November of 2000 and Sister Edith (Ray) Wendt. Dorothy is survived by three children, Maureen (Bob) Branch of Wilson, Claudia (Ray) Gow of Holiday, FL, Howard (Suzanne) Fitzgerald Jr. of Vernhelm, Germany; and God-child and niece, Delores (Richard) Whitcomb of Newfane. She is also survived and loved by her grandchildren, Kelli (Robert) Alaimo, Traci (Travis) Taylor, Candi (RandyCurry), Kristi (John) Confer, John Gow, Laura Gow Brown; several great-grandchildren and great great grandchildren. There will be no prior visitation, a private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by the Hamilton and Clark Funeral Home, 270 Young Street, Wilson. Porter Road, died unexpect-
edly at home today (Aug. 20
1962).
Mr. Wolf attended the
Suerger family reunion Sun-
day. His family physician
said he suffered a heart at-
tack.
Born in Chicago, Ill, Mr.
Wolf lived here 45 years. Be-
fore retirement he worked at
the Carborundum Co. and
had heen employed before
his death by the Niagara
Frontier Park Commission
He was a member of St.
Paul Lutheran Church and
Niagara Frontier Lodge No.
132, F&AM.
The lodge will hold a me-
morial service at 7:30 p.m.
Tuesday at the Gridley Fu-
neral Home.
Surviving are his wife, Ida
Wolf; two daughters, Mrs.
Rinhart Wendt, Tampa, Fla.
and Mrs. Howard R. Fitzger-
ald, Newfane; five grand-
children.
Friends may call at the
funeral home until 11 a.m.
Wednesday.
Rev. Theodore L. Mentor
will officiate at the funeral
at St. Paul Lutheran Church
at 2 p.m. Wednesday. Burial
will be in St. Paul Cemetery,
Bergholtz.
