Notes:

Theodore Passero, 86, of Lancaster, NY, passed from this life on Friday, June 9, 2017 at his residence.  Born on October 27, 1930 in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Armando and Antonietta (Caporaso) Passero.  
Mr. Passero proudly served in the United States Army Air Corps, following World War II, from October 29, 1947 until his honorable discharge on December 26, 1951. On October 13, 1951, Theodore married the former Marie Angotti.  For 44 years, he was employed as a bricklayer working for the Bricklayers Union, Local #2 in Niagara Falls, NY. Mr. Passero was the primary caregiver of his beloved wife, Marie. Theodore enjoyed gardening and spending time with his granddaughter, “Skippy”.
In addition to his wife of over 65 years, Mr. Passero is survived by his son, Theodore A. (Carla) Passero; granddaughter, Taylore Passero; brother, Mario (Carol) Passero; sister, Gloria (late Carmine) Fortunate and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.  In addition to his parents, Theodore was predeceased by 7 siblings.
There will be no prior visitation.  Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial, concluding with Military Honors, on Monday, June 12th at 10:30 a.m. which will be celebrated in St. Gregory the Great Roman Catholic Church, 200 St. Gregory Ct., Williamsville, NY, with Rev. Thomas M. Mahoney serving as celebrant. EVERYONE ASSEMBLE AT THE CHURCH. Entombment in Riverdale Cemetery, Lewiston, NY. Life story

 
Catherine M. ‘Marie’ (nee Angotti) Passero, 88, passed into eternal life on January 20, 2021.  Born on June 5, 1932 in Springfield, MA, she was the daughter of the late Michele and Maria (nee Graziano) Angotti.  On October 13, 1951, Marie, as she was known to family and friends, married Theodore ‘Ted’ Passero.  He predeceased her on June 9, 2017.

 
Marie resided in Niagara Falls until 2002 when her and Ted moved to Lockport.  Locally, she was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church and in Lockport, St. John the Baptist Church.  Marie spent time working in the nursery at the YMCA, where she was affectionately known as ‘Mimi.’

 
Marie is survived by her loving son, Theodore A. 'Ted' (Carla) Passero; caring, granddaughter, Taylore Passero and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She is also survived by brother-in-law, Mario (Carol) Passero and sister-in-law, Gloria (late Carmen) Fortunate.

 
Marie’s Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, January 25th at 10:30 a.m. in St. Gregory the Great Church, 200 St. Gregory Ct. (at Maple Road) Williamsville, NY. For those who cannot join the family for Mass, virtually visit www.stgregs.org. Please assemble at church.  Private prayers of committal and entombment will follow in Riverdale Cemetery, Lewiston, NY. As you prepare to attend, please be mindful that Face Coverings and 6 foot separation are required at all times. Thank you for your comfort, support and understanding. Willow Ave, died Wednesday
(.Jan. 8. 1969) in Memorial Hospital,
lie had suffered an apparent
heart attack at home
at 8 p.m. Wednesday.
Mr. Passero was a native of
Amorsi Benevento. Italy. He
came to this country in 1906
and.had lived in tlvs city since
1908. He was a bricklayer and
stone mason for various contractors
until his retirement in
1961 and was a member of
Bricklayers Local No. 2 of Niagara
Falls.
He is survived by his wife.
Antoinette; five sons, Pat, Roland,
Theodore, Mario and Elbert
Passero; five daughters,
Mrs. Anthony (Louise) Parry,
Mrs. Charles (Yolanda) Berds,
.Mrs. Angela Zarrillo, Mrs. Carmen
(Gloria) Fortunate and
Miss Lucille Passero. all of this
city; two brothers and a sister
in Italy; 16 grandchildren
and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held
at the Rhoney Funeral Chapel
Monday at 8:30 a.m. and at
Sacrel Heart Church at 9:15
a.m.
Burial will be in Gate of
Heaven Cemetery.
Friends may call Saturday
and Sunday from 2 to 5 and
7 to 9 p.m.
