    Judith A. (nee Paterniti) Letourneau, 72, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed from this life on Friday, June 30, 2017.  Born on January 7, 1945 in Niagara Falls, NY, Judy, as she was known to family and friends, was the daughter of Ruth Mary (Birmingham) Paterniti and the late Francis Paterniti.
    Judy was a lifelong Niagara Falls resident.  She graduated from Niagara Falls High School and earned her Associates Degree in Business from Niagara County Community College. Judy was employed by the Niagara Falls Board of Education and later retired from the City of Niagara Falls, where she worked in various departments at Niagara Falls City Hall.  She was an animal lover and always cherished her pet dogs and cats.  Judy enjoyed reading John Grisham books.
    In addition to her mother, Judy is survived by three children, Patrick J. (Amy House) Letourneau, II, Noel (Kelly) Letourneau and Christopher (Kim) Letourneau; two granddaughters, Victoria and Elizabeth and several cousins.  In addition to her father, Judy was predeceased by her sister, Lynn and former spouse, Patrick J. Letourneau.
    The family will be present to receive friends on Friday, July 7th from 6-7 p.m. in the Chapel of OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME, in the Town of Niagara, where a funeral service will follow visitation at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Laura Norris-Buisch officiating.     Notes:

    Ruth M. Paterniti, 95, a life-long resident of Niagara Falls, NY, peacefully passed away on April 6, 2020 at Elderwood Nursing Home in Lockport. She is now reunited with her loving husband, Captain Frank Paterniti; and two daughters, Judith and Lynn.
    For over 40 years Ruth and her husband, Frank, shared a passion for making, painting and selling ceramic dolls. Ruth was an expert at sewing and making clothes. She also enjoyed reading, listening to music, attending garage sales in addition to caring for her dogs and cats.
    Ruth will be greatly missed by her three grandsons, Patrick J. Letourneau II and his girlfriend, Amy House, Noel J. Letourneau and his wife, Kelly, Christopher P. Letourneau and his wife, Kim; and two great-grandchildren, Elizabeth and Victoria.
    Ruth's wishes were for a cremation and due to COVID-19 memorial services will be held at a later date.
    In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to her favorite organization, the SPCA.

    Francis Paterniti of the U.S. Naval
    Reserve, son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis
    Dangelo, of 2445 Linwood avenue,
    this city.
    The ceremony took place Saturday
    morning, February 5, in Our Lady
    of Lebanon church. The marriage
    was solemnized by the Rev. Francis
    B. Hinton.
    Miss Carol Bonfielio and Mr. An-
    thony Dangelo were the attendants.

    Capt. Birmingham was appointed
    to the F i r e Department
    Jan, 12;. 1920 and named
    a captain on Oct. 23, 1950. He
    spent most of his time at Fire
    Headquarters. However, for
    the last eight years before his
    retirement on June 4, 1958,
    he was at Fire Hall No. 5, Buffalo
    Avenue at the City Water
    Works. He was a member "of
    the Niagara Falls Fire Fighters
    Association,
    He was born in C o u n ty
    Clare, Ireland, and lived here
    55 'years* .
    In World. War I he served
    with the U.S. Army t h r ee
    years in France and Germany,
    taking part in six different
    battles. He received the medal
    of bravery.

    two granddaughters.
    Funeral services will be held
    at 9 a.m. Monday at the Otto
    Redanz Funeral Home and at
    9:30 at Our Lady of Lebanon
    Church. Burial will be in Gate
    of Heaven Cemetery.'
