Ralph J. Vescio, 67, of Grand Island, NY, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 28, 2017 at Mt. St. Mary’s Hospital. Born in Niagara Falls, he was the son of the late Anthony F., Sr. and Rita (Kilbride) Vescio. Ralph graduated from the former LaSalle High School in 1967 and earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Niagara University in 1971. He married his loving wife, Mary (Lauzau) Vescio, on November 27, 1971 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Niagara Falls. Ralph formerly served as the Vice-President of Parmed Pharmaceuticals, a pharmaceutical manufacturing company founded by his father and later sold in 1985. He also served as the former regional owner of Decorating Den Interiors and was employed by Paine Webber as a stockbroker. Mr. Vescio was a board member and frequent racquet ball player at the Niagara Falls Y.M.C.A. He was also a longtime member of the Niagara Falls Jaycee’s club. In his leisure time, he enjoyed gardening and spending time with his beloved family, especially his grandchildren.    In addition to his wife of 45 years, Ralph is survived by his four daughters, Michelle (John) Lockett, Eileen Vescio, Sara Vescio and Jacquelyn (Jason) Masker; six grandchildren Thomas and Kaleigh Lockett, Owen Brockvescio, and Gianna, Talia and Seton Masker; four siblings, Mary Susan (John) Holinka, Christine (Dr. Samuel) Sirianni, Anthony (Judi) Vescio, Jr, and Jean Vescio; as well as many dear nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and friends. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 31st from 3 – 5 P.M. and Friday from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 P.M. at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, September 2nd at 10:00 A.M. at St. Stephen’s Church, 2100 Baseline Road, Grand Island. Interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
