Patricia M. Winkworth, formerly of 67th Street, died August 27, 2017 in Spencerport, NY. She was born in Niagara Falls, NY and graduated from Niagara Falls High School. Patricia is predeceased by her parents, Earl and Evelyn (Cooney) Kelly; and her husband, Bruce V. Winkworth, Sr.
Patricia retired from New York State Parks and enjoyed her last position as an information specialist. She loved singing, music, traveling, reading and doing the daily crossword puzzle. Patricia's favorite activity was spending time with family and friends, and is best known for her great hugs and contagious laugh.
Patricia is survived by her children, James (Mary Jane) Berthot of Niagara Falls, NY, Janet (Jessie) Price of Huntsville, AL, Mark Berthot of Youngstown, OH, Bruce (Marsha Botelho) Winkworth of Punxsutawney, PA, Kelly Winkworth of North Chili, NY, and Kevin (Ginny) Winkworth of Youngstown, NY; eight grandchildren; one great-grandson; four sisters; one brother; and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Winkworth generously donated her body to the University of Buffalo Anatomical Gift Program. The family will celebrate Patricia's life privately.
In lieu of flowers, her children ask friends and family to consider making a donation to a charity of their choice in her name.
