    METZLOFF — Mrs. Adelaide M. Metzloff, nee Salefske, 80, of 94 Grove St., died early Wednesday, March 25, 1953, in Buffalo General Hospital after a long illness. Born in North Tonawanda she was a lifelong resident of the Tonawandas, a member of Salem Evangelical & Reformed Church, Salem League and Women's Guild of the church. She is survived by her husband, Edward C. Metzloff; two daughters, Mrs. Vincent Bon erb of Orchard Park, N. Y., and Mrs. Thomas Niland of Syracuse; one son, Roland E. Metzloff of Tonawanda; seven grandchildren, David, John, Timothy Bonerb, Thomas III, Dennis, Nancy and Susan Niland; four brothers, William, Charles, Fred and Harold Salefske of North Tonawanda. Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. in the Hilliard Funeral Home, 147 Delaware St., Tonawanda. The Rev. Walter F. Hetzel will officiate. Burial will be in Elmlawn Cemetery. Flowers are gratefully declined by the family who wish gifts would be sent to the Cancer Fund in lieu of flowers.

    CHARLES W. SALEFSKE
    Charles W. SALEFSKE, 77, died Saturday morning at his home, 199 Sommer street. Born in Germany, he had resided in North Tonawanda the past 74 years. He was a member of the Grace Lutheran church, the Active Hose company and the North Tonawanda Volunteer Firemen's association. He is survived by his wife, Laura; four sons, William A., Charles W., Jr., and Frederick W. SALEFSKE of North Tonawanda and Sergt. Harold C. SALEFSKE of the U. S. Air Corps, stationed at Van Nuys, Calif.; a daughter, Mrs. Edward METZLOFF of Tonawanda; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Rites will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the residence. The Rev. Herman B. Miller will officiate. Burial will be in Friedens cemetery.

    MRS. LAURA SALEFSKE Mrs. Laura Salefske, 78, died this morning at her home, 199 Sommer St. Born in Germany, she had resided in the Tonawandas the past 75 years. The wife of the late Charles M. Salefske, she was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church. Surviving are four sons, William, Charles, Frederick and Harold Salefske; a daughter, Mrs. E. C. Metzloff and a sister, Mrs. Fred Hahn, all of the Tonawandas, and a brother, John Washleske of Albany. Rites will be held Friday at 2:30 p. m. in the late residence. The Rev. Herman B. Miller will officiate and burial will be in Friedens cemetery.

    MRS. EVA SALEFSKI
    Mrs. Eva SALEFSKI, 76 year old, widow of the late Godfrey Salefski, one of the pioneer residents of North Tonawanda, died, at the home of her daughters, Mrs. William KARKAU, at No. 90 Keil street, Monday morning after a bried illness with typhoid fever. She was born in Germany and came here when a child. Two daughters, Mrs. KARKAU and Mrs. Charles WASLEFSKI, one son Charles SALEFSKI, one sister Mrs. Godfrey GUST and two brothers Godfried and Jacob KOLPACK, all of North Tonawanda survive. The funeral will be held from the Karkau home on Keil street at 1:30 o'clock tomorrow afternnon, and a half hour later from the Salem Church on Morgan street. The Rev. Hans Horney officiating. Burial will be in Salem cemetery.

    Mrs. Christian Washleske. Mrs. Christian Washleske. 73 years old. died last evening at her home at No. 514 Delaware street. Surviving are her husband, two sons, Charles and John Washleske; two daughters, Mrs. Fred Hahn and Mrs. Charles Salefsky, three brothers, Jacob. Fred and William Golem and eleven grand children, all of the Tonawandas. The deceased was born in Germany and had lived here for 33 years. The funeral will be held from the late home at 'L » o'clock Sunday afternoon. Rev. E. A. Schulz of Frleden's church officiating. Interment will be made in Elmlawn.
