    Kenneth M. Bugenhagen, age 78 of Wheatfield, NY, entered into rest unexpectedly at his residence on November 14, 2017. Born in Lockport, NY on April 13, 1939, he was the son of the late Marvin and Agnes (Hassan) Bugenhagen.
    Survived by his loving wife Judith, of 55 years; children Sheryll Fromwiller, Michael (Maria) Bugenhagen, Linda Cooper, and Donald (Diana) Bugenhagen; seven grandchildren, Steven, Matthew, Melissa, Amanda, Jessica, Victor, and Heather; two great-grandchildren, Hailey and Jack. Predeceased by sister, Carol Barber. Survived by brother-in-law, Ronald Barber and several nieces and nephews.
    Ken was employed at Battenfeld Grease & Oil in North Tonawanda until his retirement. He enjoyed spending time at his camp in the southern tier, hunting, gardening, wine making, beekeeping and reading westerns.
    Friends are invited to join with the family, on Saturday (November 18), from 1-3 p.m. at the DuBois Funeral Home, 2436 Niagara Road, (Bergholz) in Wheatfield, to celebrate Ken’s life. Memorial contributions may be made to Mercy Flight or Tri-Community Ambulance Service.

    SHAWNEE - Mrs. Minnie L. Bugenhagen, 74, of 4616 Lockport Rd.,'Town of Pendleton, died Saturday (May 30, 1964) in DeGraff Memorial Hospital after a month's illness. She was born Jan. 23, 1890, in Clarence Center, N.Y., the daughter of the late Fred and Minnie Ziemendorf Herbst, and lived in this area for 41 years. She is survived by her husband, Fred J. Bugenhagen; a daughter, Mrs. Everett Masters, Shawnee; two sons, Marvin, Shawnee, and Carlton, Lockport; a sister, Mrs. Sophia Wendler, Darien Center; a brother, Albert Herbst, Lockport, seven grandchildren and one great grandchild. Funeral services will be held at the Pike & Jones funeral home, Hoover Rd., Sanborn, 2 p. m. Monday. Rev. Kenneth H. Kolbe officiating. Burial will be in Clarence Center Cemetery. The family will be present at the funeral home from 2-3 p.m. and 7-9 p.m
