    STOREY - Thompson Edward Age 62, of Old Hickory, TN, died January 10, 2018. Thom was the chair of the Media Studies Department at Belmont University. Over his 32 years of teaching, he has been awarded the Chaney Distinguished Professor Award and educator of the year by the Southeastern Journalism Conference. He also served on the board of the local chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists. Thom loved rollercoasters and was an avid golfer. He was preceded in death by his mother, Helen Ellman Storey, and his son, Joseph Storey. He is survived by his wife, Caroline Lovell Storey; his father, William Storey; daughter Madison Storey; brother Peter (Barb) Storey; step-children Thomas, Allison (Johannes) and Caroline (Stuart); grandchildren Layne and Blake; nephew Christopher; and niece Rachel. Memorial Services will be conducted 4:30 PM Monday, January 15, 2018 at Cooks United Methodist Church, 7919 Lebanon Rd., Mt. Juliet with Pastor Sandra Clay officiating. Flowers accepted, or memorials may be made to The Thom Storey Scholarship Fund at Belmont University or Cooks United Methodist Church. Visitation will be 1-4 PM Monday at the church.     STOREY - William M. Age 91, of North Tonawanda, NY, died Friday, July 12, 2019. Beloved husband of 60 years of the late Helen (nee Ellman) Storey, father of Peter (Barbara) Storey and the late Thompson Storey, father-in-law of Caroline (late Thompson) Storey, grandfather of Dr. Christopher (Dr. Kristyn) Storey, Rachel (John McCarthy) Storey, and Madison Storey; son of the late Thompson and Lucy (nee Klettke) Storey; brother of the late Iris Schoelles; also survived by several nieces and nephews. William was a 1945 graduate of North Tonawanda High School, and was also a US Navy Veteran. He had been employed as General Manager for C.A. Hackett in the Town of Tonawanda for 30 years. He served as Past President of the Lions Club of the Tonawandas, was a 20 gallon blood donor, and was a member of the DeGraff Memorial Hospital Board of Directors. William was also an active member and Elder of St. Mark Lutheran Church in North Tonawanda, spending much of his time visiting shut-ins. He was an avid bowler and golfer. There will be no prior visitation. Family and friends are invited to gather for a Memorial Service on Saturday, August, 17, at St. Mark Lutheran Church 1135 Oliver St. in North Tonawanda. A lifelong resident of North Tonawanda, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Helena (nee Zastrow) Ellman. Helen was a former Deerwood Women's President's Cup Golf Champion and a founder of the Lutheran Mixed Couples Bowling League. She had been employed by Dr. Harry Bylebyl and also Dr. Robert Schopp physicians and also by Thomas Turtle Optical in North Tonawanda. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, William M. Storey; two sons, Thompson (Caroline) Storey of Nashville, TN and Peter (Barbara) Storey of Lockport; three grandchildren, Christopher, Rachel and Madison Storey; and was the sister of the late Freibert, Elton and Reuben Ellman. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Friends may call Monday from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at John O. Roth Funeral Home, Inc., 25 William St. (between Morgan & Broad Sts.) in Tonawanda. A Funeral Service will be conducted at 10:30 AM on Tuesday in St. Mark Lutheran Church, 1135 Oliver St., in North Tonawanda. Friends invited. The Rev. Keith Knupp will officiate.     suffering an apparent heart
    attack while driving his car
    which was then involved in
    a crash with an auto owned
    by the Tonawanda Distributing
    Co.
    He was born in the Town of
    Wheatfield and had l i v ed
    here for the last 53 years. He
    was employed by the Buffalo
    Bolt Co. for 55 years, retiring
    six years ago.
    Mr. Ellman was a member
    of St. Mark's Lutheran Church,
    the Luther Laymen's League
    and St. Mark's Senior Athletic
    Club.
    Survivors include his widow,
    the former Helena Zastrow;
    three sons, Ruben E. and Freibert
    E l l m a n , both of the-
    Tonawandas, and Alton H. Ellman,
    Erie, Pa.; a daughter,
    Mrs. William (Helen) Storey,
    this city; a sister, Mrs. Victor
    Haseley, Wheatfield, a n d a
    brother, Fed Ellman, this city;
    12 grandchildren and seven
    great-gandchildren.

    Funeral Home, where

    ELLMAN - Helena A. (nee Zastrow) Ellman, 89, of North Tonawanda, Monday (March 12, 1979) at DeGraff Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Ellman was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church, the Ladies Guild and the Lutheran Service society. She wae the wife of the late Edward H. Ellman who died in June of 1965. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. William (Helen) Storey of North Tonawanda; three sons, Reuben (Bernice) Ellman and Bert (Dorothy) Ellman, both of the Tonawandas and Elton (Alice) Ellman of Florida; twelve grandchildren and eighteen greatgrandchildren. The family will receive friends at the Fretthold Funeral Home, Inc., 1241 Oliver St., at Ward Rd., North Tonawanda WEDNESDAY from 2:30 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Burial to take place Thursday at the convenience of the family. Friends are invited to a Memorial service to be held in St. Mark Lutheran Church at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, the Rev. Thomas K. Spahn will officiate. If so desired, memorials may be made to St. Mark Lutheran Church.
