    Life story

    Charles ‘Chuck’ Miller, 88, of Sanborn, NY, entered into the loving arms of Jesus on April 8, 2022 at his home, while under the care of Niagara Hospice.  Born on December 3, 1933 in Welcome Lake, PA, he was the son of the late Charles and Alice (Brinkman) Miller.  On September 1, 1956, Chuck married Shirley Meyers.  She predeceased him on September 29, 2020.

     
    Chuck was raised and attended schools in PA and came to Niagara Falls in 1951. He proudly served in the United States Army, during the Korean War, from May 22, 1953 until his honorable discharge on May 20, 1955.  Chuck was employed by Kimberly-Clark Corporation and the former Harrison Radiator, retiring in 1998, as an electrician. He was a devoted Christian and a member of Destiny Christian Church. Chuck enjoyed bowling and in 2009 bowled a perfect game.

     
    Chuck is survived by sons, Charles (Sandra) Miller, Jr., Richard (Laurel) Miller and Michael (Loretta) Miller; a daughter, Rebecca (Jeffrey) Napier; grandchildren, Sarah, Tyler, Zachary, Jonah, Allison, Jacob, Joshua, Michael, Kennedy, Madison and Hannah and also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.  In addition to his parents and spouse, he was predeceased by a sister, Pauline.

     
    The family will be present on Wednesday, April 13th, from 4-7 p.m. at the OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME, 2215 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY (716-297-9007), where Chuck’s funeral service and life celebration, concluding with Military Honors, will begin at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Lou Perez officiating.  Private prayers of committal and interment will be held in Niagara Falls Memorial Park Cemetery, Lewiston, NY with his family.  In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to Destiny Christian Church, 905 College Ave, Niagara Falls, NY 14305, SonRays Ministries, Inc., 327 N. Ellicott Creek Road, Buffalo, NY 14228, and/or Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport, NY 14094.     Mrs Brinkman was born on July 19 1878 at Welcome Lake, Wayne Co., PA. She was the widow of Charles A Brinkman.
    She had lived a the home of her daughter of the last three years and formerly lived at Welcome Lake.
    She is survived by two sons, Arthur and Emmet; four daughters - Mrs Alice Miler, Mrs Helen Brown, Mrs Julie Worzel, and Laura Brinkman; nine grandchildren and one great grandchild; and a sister, Mrs August Decker of Welcome Lake, PA.
