    MTDDLEPORT - Ida H. Waldmann, formerly of Middleport, died Tuesday at the Inter-CommunityHospital in Newfane following along illness. Mrs. Waldmann was born in Wolcottsville on .Feb. 14, 1910, the daughter of John and Elda Koepsel Schubel. She had lived most of her life in Wolcottsville and had worked at Harrison Radiator for. several years. She was a member of St. Michael's Lutheran Church. She was the wife of Paul Waldmann and the late Albert Hendrick; mother of Russell (Patricia) Hendrick of Tennessee, Ronald, (Carol) Hendrick of Middleport and the late Roger Hendrick; stepmother of Mrs. Kenneth (Marcia) Singleton of Newfane, Mrs. Donald (Joan) Allan of Lockport, Mrs. Richard (Rita) Porter of Pennsylvania. Also surviving are several grandchildren and greatgrandchildren; her stepmother, Louise Schubel of Lockport; a daughter-in-law, Dorothy Hendrick of Lockport; two brothers, Earl Schubel of Akron and Carl Schubel of Wolcottsville; several nieces and nephews. Friends may call Thursday (7-9) and Friday (7-9) at the Bates, Wallace and Heath Funeral Home Inc., 38 State St., and Saturday (10-11 a.m.) at St. Michael's Lutheran Church, Wolcottsville, where a funeral service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Dennis J. Krueger officiating. Burial will be in Royalton Mountain Ridge Cemetery. Memorial gifts may be made to St. Michael's Lutheran Church, Wolcottsville.

    Fred Handrich, 83, Royalton Man, Dies
    MIDDLERORT - Fred W. Handrich 83, Akron Rd. Town of Royalton, died Saturday (April 11, 1959) in Hilltop Nursing Home, Gasport, where he had been a patient for eight months. He was born May 19, 1875 in the Town of Royalton, the son of William and Augusta Smith Handrich. He had resided in this vicinity all his late life. Mr. Handrich was a member of St Michael's Lutheran Church, Wolcottsville. Surviving are two sons, Albert W. and Lester H. Handrich. both of Lockport; one daughter, Mrs. Norman Schultz of Medina; six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call today from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 at the Wallace A. Heath Funeral Home and tomorrow from 1 to 2 in the afternoon at St. Michael's Church. Services will be held in the Church tomorrow afternoon at 2. Burial will be in Royalton Mountain Ridge Cemetery.

    John C. Schubel, 70, of Wolcottsville,
    died unexpectedly Saturday
    afternoon (March 30, 1957) at the
    home of Mrs. Fred Sy at 15 South
    St.. Lockport.
    Mr. Schubel and his wife, the
    former Louise Bruning, had
    stopped there to pay a call when
    he suffered a heart attack. The
    Lockport Fire Department responded
    with an inhalator, but
    Mr. Schubel failed to respond.
    Born at Wolcottsville Sept. 24,
    1886, he lived in Wolcottsville all
    of his life and retired two years
    ago from the National Gypsum Co.
    because of ill health.
    He was educated at the Lutheran
    Parochial School in Wolcottsville
    and was a member of St. Michael's
    Lutheran Church.
    Besides his wife, Mr. Schubel
    leaves one daughter, Mrs. Albert
    Hendrich of Lockport, and two
    sons, Carol of Wolcottsvile and
    Earl of Akron.
    Services will be held at t h e
    Schubel home in Wolcottsville at
    2 tomorrow afternoon and at St.
    Michael's Church at 2:30. The
    Rev. Hubert Huth will officiate.
    Burial will be in Mt Pleasant
    Cemetery, West Shelby.
