    Michele "Mike" D'Amico, 81, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on May 8th, 2018 at Our Lady of Peace Health Care Facility in Lewiston, NY. Born on February 20, 1937 in Limosano, Province of Campobasso, Italy, he was the son of the late Michele D'Amico and Michelina (Ricciuto) D'Amico Colosi.
    Michele was raised in Italy and came to Niagara Falls in December of 1955. On December 27, 1956, he married Concettina (Antonelli) D'Amico in Limosano, Italy.
    Mike was employed with Pittsburgh Metallurgical, Airco Speer/Airco Alloys, TAM Ceramics, and most recently with Occidental Chemical and Durez Corporation shipping department in Niagara Falls, retiring in 2000. Mike was a jack-of-all-trades, enjoyed gardening and yard work, and had a love of cars, and especially took pleasure in restoring his 1957 Chevy. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
    In addition to his wife of 61 years, Mr. D'Amico is survived by his children, Maria C. (Joseph L., Jr.) Scrivani and Michael A. (Lucy F.) D'Amico; his grandchildren, Ashley M. (Jason) Scarf, Daniella C. D'Amico, Michael V. D'Amico, and Marc A. D'Amico; as well as his brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, Michele was predeceased by his brother, Vincenzo (late Rita) D'Amico.
    Visitation will be held on Friday from 4-8 PM at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY 14304, where a prayer service will be held on Saturday, May 12th at 9:15 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at St. Vincent de Paul Parish at Prince of Peace Church, 1055 N. Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY 14304. Entombment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY.
    If desired, memorial offerings may be made to American Diabetes Association, 4955 N Bailey Ave #217, Amherst, NY 14226, American Cancer Society, 101 John James Audubon Parkway, Amherst, NY 14228 or Our Lady of Peace Nursing Facility, 5285 Lewiston Rd., Lewiston, NY 14092.
