Husband of Elvira Griffiths Sherwood, father of Mrs. Elsie Ruffal of Niagara Falls, Mrs. Marion Hamann of Tonawanda and Eugene and Glen of Sanborn. Fourteen grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 1 great, great grandchild also survive. Friends may call at the Pike Funeral Home, Sanborn, where services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday with the Rev. Richard Sova officiating. Interment in Wheatfield Cemetery.
