    Notes:

    Albert J. Chille, 92, of Lewiston, NY, went home to be with the Lord on July 10, 2018 at Buffalo General Hospital.  Born May 8, 1926 in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Joseph and Mary (Boniello) Chille. 
    Al attended local schools graduating from Niagara Falls High School and received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Niagara University. He served in The United States Army Air Force during World War II. Al was also a licensed Barber and Real Estate Broker. He was employed for 27 years by the Niagara Falls School District as a teacher, counselor, Coordinator of Racial Balance, Director of School Community Relations, retiring as Assistant to the Superintendent of Schools in 1981.   Following his retirement Al was the Executive Director for the Niagara County SPCA from 1981-2009.
    Al was also very involved in his community; he served more than 20 years with the United Way, including Campaign Chairman in 1972. President of the WNY Public Relations Association, Chairman of the Niagara Falls Youth Board, President of the St. Mary’s Hospital Board of Associates, Chairman of the local chapter of the National Conference of Christians and Jews, as well as numerous other community and religious organizations. Al was also an unsuccessful candidate for Mayor of Niagara Falls in 1975.  Above all, his greatest pleasure came from spending time with his family.
    Albert is survived by his wife Patricia (Healy) Chille, his children, Joseph Chille, Michael (Sheila) Chille, Elizabeth (Christopher) Cappuccilli, Annmarie (Albert) LaMorticella and step-daughter Lisa McCue,  his grandchildren Joseph Chille, Justine (Matt) Mariani, Joelle (Jon) Chille Cale, Michael Chille, II., Maddison Chille, Christopher (Carly Gruarin) Cappuccilli, II, Anthony Cappuccilli, Abigail Cappuccilli, Allina (Matt Bolea) LaMorticella, Marreana LaMorticella and Jagger Pelczynski, great-grandchildren, Gianni Mariani and Adreyano  Mariani as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and his beloved dog Carmello.  He was also predeceased by wife Mary Ann Chille, granddaughter Ammari LaMorticella, brother Ralph A. (Ezita) Chille, and lifelong friend and brother Nicholas (Rosemarie) Minicucci.
    Mr. Chille’s family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Buffalo General SICU and Dr. Romesh Kohli for their compassionate and excellent care for Mr. Chille.
    Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 15th from 2 - 7 p.m. at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL 2730 Military Rd. Niagara Falls, NY.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, July 16th at 9:30 a.m. with Military Honors at St. Peter’s Church 620 Center Street Lewiston, NY.  EVERYONE PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH.  Entombment will be held in St. Joseph Cemetery at the convenience of the family.  If desired Memorials may be made to St. Peters Church or the Kidney Foundation of WNY 110 Broadway Buffalo, NY 14203.Visit mjcoluccifuneralchapel.com for online condolences.

    Niagara Ave., a grocer and
    lifelong North End resident,
    died Tuesday (June 2, 1964)
    in Bufflo Veterans Hospital
    after a brief illness.
    Mr. Perry was in the gro-.
    cery business here for 40
    years. He had owned Perry's
    Food Market, 1801 Niagara
    Ave., since 1948 and prior to
    that another store in Cleve-
    land Avenue near Lockport
    Street.
    He was a member of the
    Holy Name Society of Sacred
    Heart Church and served with
    the U.S. Expeditionary Forces
    in France during World War
    I.
    He is survived by his wife,,
    Marie; two daughters Mrs.
    Albert J. Chille and Mrs.
    James E. Reid; two sisters,
    Mrs. Agnes Johnson, and Mrs.
    James Sullivan,, all of this
    city. Nine grandchildren also
    survive.
    Friends may call after 2
    p.m. at Rhoney Funeral Home.
    Services will be held there at
    9:15 a.m. Saturday and at 9
    a.m. at Sacred Heart Church.
