    Notes:

    Norman E. Niethe passed away on Friday August 17, 2018 in Eastern Niagara Hospital, Lockport.  Born in Lockport on March 23, 1929, he was the son of the late Fred and Margaret Nolan Niethe.  Norman served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict from 1950 until 1952.  He retired as an Inspector from Harrison Radiator in Lockport after 30 years.  He was a member of First Presbyterian Church and the VFW. 
    Norman is survived by his wife of 61 years, Jane (nee Martin) Niethe; father of Victoria (Dana) Rising, Norman “Chip” E. Niethe Jr., Donald (Lorie) Niethe and the late David Niethe; grandfather of David Jr., Masion, Nicholas, Alexander, Robert, Amanda, Vanessa and Natalie; and great grandfather of Addison, McKenzie and Blake.  Norman was the brother of Robert (Hiroko) Niethe and the late Merle “Bud” Niethe.  He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

    Obituary of Jane M. Niethe

    Jane M. Niethe passed away on March 23, 2022 under the care of Niagara Hospice and her loving family. She was born on February 11, 1927 in Buffalo, NY a daughter of the late Francis and Marion (Grinsell) Martin.Jane was a Note Teller for Marine Trust Company in Buffalo, NY. She was presented with the Lifetime Achievement Award from the PTA for all her years volunteering at the schools. She enjoyed bowling but most of all spending time with her family. Jane was predeceased by her husband Norman Niethe, son David Niethe and brother James Martin. She is survived by her children Victoria (Dana) Rising, Norman “Chip”  Niethe, Jr., Donald (Lori) Niethe; grandchildren David Jr., Mason, Nicholas, Alexander, Robert, Amanda, Vanessa, Natalie; several great grandchildren.
