Beloved wife of 60 years to Kenneth Bigham, Jr.; dearest mother of Kathy (Stephen) Winiecki, William (Susan) Bigham, Dennis (Janice) Bigham, Debbie (Tim) Hornyak and Susan (Milton) Henderson; grandmother of 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; loving daughter of the late Frank and Irene Guido; dearest sister of Francis (the late Eleanor) Guido, the late George Guido, the late Thomas (Linda) Guido, and James (Kim) Guido; also survived by nieces, nephews, an extended family and many dear friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a mass in her honor on Friday, September 7, 2018 at 11:00 AM held at St. Aloysius Gonzaga RC Church, 157 Cleveland Dr., Buffalo, NY 14215. A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at Rescue Fire Hall, 1241 Strad Ave., North Tonawanda, NY, Saturday, September 8, 2018 from 5-9 PM. Memorials may be made in her memory to Hospice of Niagara County.

(nee Kolbe) Guido, age 93, of North Tonawanda, passed away on June 21, 2014. Mrs. Guido was born in North Tonawanda on February 6, 1921, daughter of the late William and Emma Kolbe. Mrs. Guido was a very active member of the former Ascension R.C. Church and currently a member of St. Jude the Apostle Parish. She had worked for Pivot-Punch in Pendleton for over 20 years. Mrs. Guido was involved in the foster grandparent program in the North Tonawanda School System for over 20 years. She was an Election Poll Worker for many years and a member of the North Tonawanda Senior Center. Beloved wife of the late Frank Guido, who passed away in 1948; devoted mother of Marilyn (Kenneth) Bigham, Frank (Eleanor) Guido, Jim (Kim) Guido, the late George Guido and late Thomas (Linda) Guido; sister of the late Dorothea Tober, late Edward, Herbert, Carl and William Kolbe. Also survived by fourteen grandchildren, thirty-four great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandsons; and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call on Wednesday and Thursday from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM at the WATTENGEL Funeral Home, (NEW LOCATION) 533 Meadow Dr., North Tonawanda. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday from St. Jude the Apostle Parish, 800 Niagara Falls Blvd., at 11:00 AM. Please assemble at church.     funeral of William Kolbe, 43 years
    old. who was buried Sunday afternoon.
    Ho had been in poor health
    for several days and died of heart

    MILLS – Emm Kolbe (nee Proefrock) Mills, 90, of North Tonawanda, Saturday (July 29, 1978) at DeGraff Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Mills was a lifelong resident of North Tonawanda , a member of the Golden Agers, St. Matthew Lutheran Church and the Women’s Missionary League.

    Wife of the late Melvin Mills and William C. Kolbe, Mrs. Mills is survived by three sons, the Rev. Edward ( Norma) Kolbe of Appleton, N.Y., Herbert E. (Lillian) Kolbe of Lockport, N.Y., and Carl W. (Alice) Kolbe of North Tonawanda; two daughters, Mrs. Dorothea Tober and Mrs. Irene Guido, both of North Tonawanda; 20 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild, many nieces and nephews; four brothers, Fred Proefrock of East Bethany, Edward Proefrock of Tonawanda, Walter Proefrock of California and Arnold Proefrock of North Tonawanda; two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Manth and Mrs. Regina Salisbury, both of North Tonawanda.

    The family will receive friends at the Fretthold Funeral Home, Inc., 1241 Oliver St. at Ward Rd., North Tonawanda today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be held at the funeral home Tuesday at 1:30 p.m., the Rev. A. W. Moldenhauer will officiate. Interment in St. Matthew Lutheran Cemetery. If so desired, memorials may be made to St. Matthew Lutheran Church Building Fund.
