She was predeceased by : her parents, Philip D. Bechtel and Harriet Switzer Bechtel; her husband Adrian Banks; her daughter Cynthia Banks; her grandson Geoffrey Linderman; and her son-in-law Douglas Linderman.
She is survived by : her children, Philip Banks (Beth), Susan Linderman, Paula Dahlke (Charles), Christopher Banks (Kristine), Rebecca Schweigert (Richard), George Banks (Donna), Laurette Clark (Michael) and Margaret Ruckdeschel (James); and her siblings-in-law, Mary, Mark Pioli, Irene Banks and Diane Banks. She is also survived by 26 grandchildren, several cousins, nieces, nephews.
A mass will be held on Saturday, February 17th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Brendan's.

Miss Grace A. Bechtel became
the bride of Mr. Adrian Banks on
Memorial day at St. John de LaSalle
church, with the Rev. Francis W.
McKenna officiating.
Miss Bechtel is the daughter of
Mr. Philip D. Bechtel, Buffalo avenue,
and the late Mrs. Harriet Switzer
Bechtel. Mr. Banks is the son
of Dr. and Mrs. George B. Banks,
Randall road, Ransomville.
Given in marriage by her uncle,
Mr. C. Allen Switzer, the bride
wore a ballerina-length gown
of white nylon lace over satin, fashioned
with* a full hooped skirt and
fitted bodice with scalloped neckline.
On her head she. wore a circlet
of orange blossoms, from which
fell an ankle-length lace veil. She
carried a white satin prayerbook
with orange blossom streamers.
The bride's cousin, Mrs. Morris
W. Swilter, her only attendant,
wore a rose nylon lace ballerinalength
long-sleeved gown with a full
hooped skirt. Her headpiece was a
circlet of yellow rosebuds and she
carried a bouquet of yellow roses.
Mr. Paul Banks, brother of the
bridegroom, was the best man. The
ushers were Mr. Charles A. Switzer,
Jr., and Mr. Russell Kleinhans.
During the ceremony, music was
provided by Alice Ross, who sang
"Ave Maria" and "Panis Angelicus,"
accompanied by Mrs. John Dowdall,
church organist.
A reception for the bride and
groom was given by the bride's
aunts. Mrs. Fanny Kleinhans and
Miss Isabel Switzer, at the former's
home, in Lockport.
Following the reception, Mr. and
Mrs. Banks left for a motor trip
to Montreal. Que. For traveling,
the bride chose a gray suit with
navy blue and white accessories and
a yellow orchid corsage,,
