    Of Tonawanda, entered into rest on February 28, 2023. Beloved husband of Sandra Romano (nee Panzica); amazing father of Rachael (Kyle) Kittleson and Rebecca (Jeremy) Besch; cherished papa of Calvin Besch, Avery Kittleson, Fox Besch, and the late Kelsey Kittleson; loving son of the late Ann Romano; dear brother of the late Samuel Giambra; also survived by other family and friends. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Northtowns Chapel) 885 Niagara Falls Blvd., Amherst (near Eggert Rd.) on Saturday March 4th from 1-4PM for a gathering in Gary's memory. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the National Brain Tumor Society (www.braintumor.org) in Gerhardt's name. Gary was a tremendous human who was loved by anyone who met him.     An heirloom lavaliere was worn by Miss Sandra Adele Panzica when she became the bride of Gerhaldt C. Romano Feb. 20, 1971 in St. Timothy's Church, Town of Tonawanda.
    The Rev. Joseph Jensen officiated for the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James C. Panzica of 290 Mapleview Drive, Town of Tonawanda, and the son of Mrs. Ann Romano of Eden.
    The bride carried a prayer book which was carried by her mother on her wedding day 25 years ago.
    Miss Deborah Ann Panzica was maid of honor. Richard Koegler was best man.
    A reception was given in the Hallmark Manor. After a wedding journey to Toronto, the couple will make their home in Buffalo.

    GERHARDT O. LEBRENZ - The body of Gerhardt O. Lebrenz, World War veteran and a life-long resident of North Tonawanda, having resided at 213 Tremont street, arrived here yesterday from Sunmount, N. Y., where he died Saturday morning in the Veterans' Administration hospital. Rites will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Hilliard Funeral Home, 147 Delaware street. The Rev. H. L. Barbery of the First Methodist church, of which Mr. Lebrenz was a member, will officiate, assisted by the Rev.Harold Hewitt of Buffalo, former pastor of the First church. Burial will be in Acacia Park. Masonic services will be held this evening at 8 o'clock in the Hilliard Funeral Home by Sutherland Lodge, of which Mr. Lebrenz was a member. He was a member of the American Legion and the husband of the late Beulah Mclntyre Lebrenz.

    OTTO C LEBRENZ
    Otto C. Lebrenz, 83, died suddenly yesterday at his home, 201 Lincoln avenue. He was born in Germany and had resided in Tonawanda since he was five. He was a member of the Rescue Fire company, the North Tonawanda Firemen's Benevolent association and the St. Matthew's Evangelical church. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Arthur Thursam of San Diego, Calif., Miss Elma Lebrenz and Mrs. Arthur T. Ott of Tonawanda; three sons, Edwin C., Herbert T. and Carl R. Lebrenz of North Tonawanda; 10 grandchildren and five great grandchildren, a brother, Gustav of Stillwater, Minn., and a sister, Mrs. Minnie Danhardt of Buffalo. He was also the father of the late Gerhardt O. Lebrenz. Rites will be held Sunday at 3:30 p. m. from the residence. The Rev. Carl Frankenstein will officiate. Burial will be in St. Paul's cemetery.
