Alice Rose Guenther (Thuman) age 95, of the Town of Pendleton, peacefully, December 24, 2022. Alice was a member of the Christian Mothers of Good Shepherd, and the American Legion A J Jurek Post #1672. She had been a former employee of Beechwood Nursing Home and Niagara Homemakers. She was the wife of the late Edward Guenther who died in February of 2022. Beloved mother of Deborah (late Gary) Gallo, Diane (Bill) Magill, David (Karen) Guenther, Donna (Carl) Kroening, Anita (David) Cratsenberg, Gary (Tina) Guenther, and Edward A. Guenther. Grandmother of 20 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Sister of Arline (Donald) McKenzie and the late Robert, James and Evelyn. Aunt of many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home Inc. 1241 Oliver St. at Ward Rd. in North Tonawanda on Monday, January 2nd from 3:00 – 7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, January 3rd at 10:00 AM from Good Shepherd R. C. Church, 5442 Tonawanda Creek Rd. in the Town of Pendleton.
