Gary A. Balcom of Wilson, NY formerly of Burt, NY husband of Brenda Blackley Balcom entered into rest Saturday, January 26, 2019 in Eastern Niagara Hospital Lockport, NY. He was born in Lockport, NY November 6, 1945, the son of the late James and Geraldine Seefeldt Balcom. Gary retired from Harrison Radiator in 1999, after 31 years in production and inspection. He married Brenda Blackley May 16, 2007. Gary was an exempt member of Miller Hose Fire Company and a member of NYS Fire Police Association. He enjoyed fishing, stock car racing and enjoying time with his family, especially his granddaughter. Father of Christina Balcom, Tammy (Jeff) Miller, Theresa Balcom Draper all of Lockport and the late Vicki and Rita Balcom. Brother of Jack Balcom of Newfane, NY and the late Carol Clapsaddle and Barb  Merrick. Also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews. No prior visitation. A Memorial Services will be held SATURDAY February 9, 2019 at 11:00 AM in Newfane United Methodist Church Main St. Newfane, NY. Obituary of Joyce Balcom

Joyce M. Balcom passed away June 29, 2018 in Eastern Niagara Hospital.  Born May 16, 1948 in Lockport she was the daughter of August and Nellie (DeVoe) Raetz.  Joyce worked at Briarwood Manor where she was a CAN for 15 years. She was a member of Lockport United Church of Christ in Lockport and enjoyed reading, walking, and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Joyce was predeceased by her daughter Rita Balcom and grandson David Draper.
Joyce is survived by her two daughters Tammy (Jeff) Miller and Theresa (Glenn) Draper; grandchildren Elizabeth, Eric, Morgan, James, Nicholas, Tiffany, Rosemary, Joyce, great grandchildren Noah, London, Javaris Janiyaha, Wesley Jr., Brooklyn, Nathan; siblings Carl Raetz and LuAnn (Mark) Ludington; several nieces and nephews.
No prior visitation.  Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial service Saturday, July 7th at 1 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport.  Visit pruddenandkandt.com.
