  Obituary of John Drozdowski

John W. Drozdowski, 79, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Friday, February 15, 2019 at Roswell Park Cancer Institute. Born in Niagara Falls, NY on April 19, 1939 he was the son of the late John Drozdowski and the late Lillian (Karas) Pernesky.
He is survived by his wife, Therese A. (Struzik) Drozdowski; children, Bob Drozdowski, Lynn Kopera, David Drozdowski and Denise Drozdowski; grandchildren, Jacob, Peter, Duncan and Tessa.
There is NO PRIOR visitation. A Memorial Mass will be held 10:00 AM on Wednesday, February 20th at Divine Mercy Parish, 2437 Niagara Street, Niagara Falls, NY with Rev. Jacek Mazur officiating. Therese A. Drozdowski Obituary

Therese A. Drozdowski, 84, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Friday, January 19, 2024 at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. Born in Niagara Falls, NY on June 23, 1939 she was the daughter of the late Peter S. and Wanda T. (Synoradzki) Struzik.


Therese enjoyed baking, crocheting, listening to books on tape and keeping in touch with her family and friends, whether it was just to say hello or to trade recipes and crochet patterns. She attended a weekly crochet group at the Duke Center and was always crocheting items for her family and friends. She especially enjoyed crocheting blankets and hats to donate to the Roswell Park Cancer Institute.


She frequently baked banana and blueberry muffins to give to her family and friends. In addition to being a housewife and mother, she was the church secretary for over 40 years at the First Unitarian Universalist Church. She was a retail sales clerk at the Niagara Falls State Park souvenir shop for over 10 years.


Therese loved spending time with her children and grandchildren and was the center of the family, always hosting holidays and special occasions at her home.


She is survived by her children, Bob Drozdowski, Lynn Kopera, David (Aesha) Drozdowski, and Denise (Dave) Drozdowski; grandchildren, Jacob (Tommy) Kopera, Peter( Kayla) Kopera, Duncan Drozdowski and Tessa (Neil)Drozdowski; sister, Mary Anne Reichert; brother, John (Christine) Struzik and sister in-law, Betty Struzik. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband, John W. Drozdowski, and brother, Thomas A. Struzik Sr.


There is NO PRIOR visitation. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 AM on Thursday, January 25th at Divine Mercy Parish, 2437 Niagara Street, Niagara Falls, NY with Rev. James Kirkpatrick officiating. Private burial in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Lewiston, NY, will take place at the convenience of the family. Arrangements entrusted to ZAJAC FUNERAL HOME INC.
