Rose A. Fetcho, (Giannini), 89, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away April 28, 2019 at Mt. St. Mary’s Hospital. Born on April 8, 1930 in Niagara Falls, NY she was the daughter of the late Rudolpho and Theresa (Tomasini) Giannini. On July 1, 1978 she married Stephen E. Fetcho in Niagara Falls, NY, he predeceased her May 2, 2007.
Rose graduated from Niagara Falls High School. She worked in office sales at Occidental Chemical Company retiring in 1995. Rose enjoyed traveling, shopping, keeping her home tidy and enjoyed cutting her lawn and keeping it very well maintained.
Rose is survived by her step-daughter Gladys (late James ) Palmeri, three grandchildren, Michael Palmeri, Christina Palmeri and Stephen Palmeri; three great-grandaughters, Mercedes Palmeri , Camille Richardson and Sophie Stretter, two great-grandsons Jimmy and Nicoli Palmeri. Dear aunt of James (Darlene) Giannini, Robin (Mark) Letty and Randolph Giannini. Great aunt of James, Rochelle, Dane and Justine (Matt) Teator. Great great aunt of Elyssa, Brianna and Landen. Predeceased by her brother Emidio ‘Midge ’ (Elizabeth) Giannini .
Visitation will be on Friday May 3rd from 5-8 pm at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY. Rose’s Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at St. Vincent de Paul Parish at St. Leo Church at 11 AM. Please assemble at church. Entombment will be held in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY. The family of Rose would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Brookdale Senior Living and to the 3rd floor nursing staff of Mt. St. Mary’s Hospital for all their tender care of Rose.
