    FREDERICK PETER SKORIK, age 89 of Oakton, Virginia, formerly of Bergholz (Town of Wheatfield), New York, was called to his heavenly home on March 15, 2019 at the Sunrise Assisted Living facility- Hunter Mill Road, Oakton, Virginia. Born in Niagara Falls, New York on March 21, 1929; son of the late Miknail and Mary (Toponak) Skorik. He was employed at Occidental Chemical Company, until his retirement. Fred was predeceased by his wife, Mary Jane (Haseley) Skorik, on February14, 2017. 
    Survivors include two children, Richard (Denise) Skorik of Amherst, NY, and Mary Jane (John) Skorik-Andrews of Virginia; four grandchildren, Richard (Heather), Andrew, Emma and Susannah; and three great-grandchildren, Benjamin, Nadia and Nathaniel. 
    Friends may call at the DuBois Funeral Home, 2436 Niagara Road, (Bergholz) Town of Wheatfield, on Friday, March 22 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Michael A. Keicher, on Saturday, March 23 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. A private interment will take place on Monday, March 25 at 10:00 a.m. in Riverdale Cemetery, Town of Lewiston, NY.

    Mary Jane Skorik, age 82, of Wheatfield, NY, was called to her heavenly home on February 14, 2017 at DeGraff Memorial Hospital, under the care of Niagara Hospice. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Mary Jane (Cushman) Haseley.
    Mary Jane was a member of St. John Ev. Lutheran Church, Wheatfield, the Wheatfield Seniors, enjoyed knitting and was a devoted homemaker.
    Survivors include her loving husband, Frederick P. Skorik, married on February 24, 1951; two children, Richard (Denise) Skorik of Amherst and Mary Jane (John) Skorik-Andrews of Vienna, VA; three sisters, Joyce Hall, Gail Cashier and Grace Linganfelter; four grandchildren, Richard (Heather), Andrew, Emma and Susannah; and three great-grandchildren, Benjamin, Nadia and Nathaniel. Also predeceased by three brothers, Curtis and Charles Haseley, and James LaBove.
    Friends may call at the DUBOIS FUNERAL HOME, 2436 Niagara Road, (Bergholz) in Wheatfield, on Friday from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM. Services will be conducted by the Rev.     Miss Mary Jane Haseley, daughter
    of Mrs. Elwood Labove and Mr. Carl
    F. Haseley, was united in marriage to
    Mr. Fredrick Skorik, son of Mr. and
    Mrs. Michael Skorik, at the Evangel-
    ical United Brethren church, Cleve-
    land avenyue and Sixteenth street.
    The Rev. albert G. Whman offici-
    ated at the ceremony, before an altar
    decorated with white snapdragons/
    The music was presented by Mrs.
    Franklin Schweitzer at the organ and
    Clyde Shea, soloist. Their selections
    were "Because" and the "Lords
    Prayer".
    Given in marriage by her mother,
    the bride wore a gown of white slip-
    per satin fashioned with a lace yoke,
    and long train. Her French illusion
    veil fell from a satin beaded crown,
    she carried a bouquet of rred and
    white rose buds.
    Miss Angeline Ortner, maid of
    honor, wore a gown of aqua satin
    with a silve headdress and bouquet
    of pink rose buds.
    The bride's three sisters were her
    bridesmaids. Joyce Labove wore a
    gown of robin's egg blue taffeta/ Her
    bouquet was of pink roses. Gail Has-
    eley wore a gown of orchid satin with
    a bouquet of yellow rose buds an d
    Grace Haseley chose for her gown
    gold satin and carried a bouquet of
    talisman roses. The bridesmaids all
    wore gold headdress.
    Mr. Carl Zimmerman was best
    man. Mr. Jack Zimmerman and
    Robert Saunderson were ushers.
    The mother of the bride wore a
    black gown with pink accessories.
    The Bridegroom's mother chose
    brown for her dress. The mothers
    wore matching corsages fo rose buds
    and carnations.
    Mrs. Young, grandmother of the
    bride, wore a lavender dress with
    gray accessories and corsage of
    rosebuds and carnations.
    A reception was held for 100
    guests at the Stone castle.
    The couple will reside at 3201
    Rhode Island avenue.

    Mrs. Mary Skorik, 82, of 3201
    Rhode Island Ave., Town of
    Niagara, died Thursday
    (March 23, 1972) in Memorial
    Medical Center shortly after
    being admitted there.
    Born -in Odessa, Ukraine,
    U.S.S.R., she came to Niagara
    Falls in 1905 and in 1923 moved
    to the Town of Niagara with
    her husband, where they
    became one of the first families.,
    to settle there.
    The couple celebrated a
    golden anniversary in 1959 and
    were in their 63rd year ofmarriage.
    In addition to her husband,
    Michael, Mrs. Skorik is survived
    by two sons, Vosil (Mike)
    of the Town of Niagara and
    Frederick P. Skorik of the
    Town of Wheatfield, a daughter
    Mrs. Uo (Anna) Crystal of
    this city, and three brothers,
    Frank Toponak of Niagara
    Falls, and John and Joseph
    Coyle Sr. of Youngstown.
    Also surviving are three
    grandchildren and two great'
    grandchildren.
    A brother. Nicholas
    Krinovous, died in 1971.
    Funeral services will be held
    at 11 a.m. Monday at the
    Rhoney Funeral Home. Burial
    will be in Riverdale Cemetery.
    Friends may call at the

    to 9 p.m. today and Sunday.

    Carl F. Haseley, 68, of 501 B St., Sunny Acres, died Friday (Sept. 22, 1972) in Memorial Medical Center where he had been a patient for six weeks.
    He was born in the Town of Niagara and retired in 1969 from the Penn Central Railroad where he had been an engineer for 35 years.
    Mr. Haseley was a member of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers.
    Survivors include three sons, L. Charles Haseley of Niagara Falls, Curtis Haseley of Sacramento, Calif., and Ralph L. Biddle of Youngstown; one daughter, Mrs. Grace Lingenfelder of the Town of Niagara: two brothers, Eric (sic) J. Haseley of Town of Niagara, and Louis Haseley of the Town of Pendleton; a sister, Mrs. Hugo (Ella) Walck of the Town of' Wheatfield; 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
    His wife, Ida A. Haseley, died Nov. 28, 1971.
    Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church with the Rev. Harold L. Baum officiating. Interment will be in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery.
    Friends may call at the Rhoney Funeral Home, 5893 Hoover Road, Sanborn, from 79 p.m. today and 2 to 4 p.m. and 7.9 p.m. Sunday.

Hansler of Detroit, Mich. Also surviving are 26 grandchildren. Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home today and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services. will be conducted at the funeral home Monday 1:30 p.m. by the Rev. William J. Devine. Burial will be in North Ridge Cemetery.

    LOCKPORT. Oct. 21.—An interlocutory
    decree of divorce, granted
    to Carl Haseley, 3205 Porter rond,
    Niagara Falls, from Mary J. Hoseley,
    1140 Whitney avenue, Niagara
    Falls, was filed yesterday at the
    county clerk's office. The decree
    was signed by Supreme Court Jus-
    tlce Alonzo O. Hlnkley and gave the
    father custody of three children,
    Curtis, nine, Charles, seven, and
    Grace, six. The couple married
    August 10, 1927, at Niagara Falls.
